Are you lagging because of connection, or lagging as in low frame-rate. You'll have to find a way to lower your graphics settings and get that options menu open.

If you have a 64 bit operating system then download Unity x64 bit and Nighty (http://nightly.mozilla.org/).

Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date if you haven't already.

How have you tried to open options? Having Rust open in a small window, pressing ESC once and then waiting, then frantically pressing the options button has worked for me so far on low-end systems.

The reason why you are lagging is due to the fact your graphics card cannot handle the game. Try the grass.on false command in the command window and try playing the game in a windowed form.

Why are you guys still replying solutions? The thread was created back when Rust was a browser game and he has most likely either fixed it or given up.

We need to know your specs to see if it is because of your PC's hardware or not.

    Perhaps the OP died already.

But yeah, Shadow, you shouldn't revive threads like that.
