The Title should have been more clear. I voted no because I thought the poll was whether modern warfare weapons should be in the game instead of Vice Versa

Wow the title question is totally misleading when the vote question is worded differently? Are you a secret sith lord with an alternate agenda? I'm willing to bet that 50% of those votes are mistakes because you changed your question. I'm glad I took the time to read it before I "voted".

As I posted previously "The question could have been worded some what differently" But I guess people need to read the poll question before saying yes/no and not simply assume the title will be the poll question...

As for your accusation I find inappropriate, however their is no doubt people simply rushed the poll question, didn't understand what it was asking etc but IMO I believe the question is still fairly
    Straight forward regardless of title.

Thanks for the feed back I will make sure the next poll question is less mis leading...more simplistic.

The problem lies not in how the title is different from the poll, but it's that the poll's question and the title contain so many of the same words that the brain naturally assumes that the poll question and the title are the same. You shouldn't have the 2 be similar variations of each other to avoid confusion. Thanks though.

So I hit the wrong vote button as the qwestion was worded odly.. But I agree that the weapons should look rusted out old or even home made.

This might give you a hint

Mind that that model is very high poly, it wouldn't look that good in game :P

Correct it's the high poly, It's rendered in 3ds max, not a game engine and is for presentation more than anything. We have ideas where we want to go with weapons amongst many other things :)

Isn't the high poly going to be used to bake the normal map for the low poly though?
So it would look almost the same, the silhouette would just look flatter/more polygonal

I believe that it should be harder to aquire M4s and primarys considering ITS A WASTELAND
I disagree, because the people that have one will have a huge advantage over newer players.

In my opinion i don't want rust to follow that path...

I think the weapons should look post Apocalyptic, meaning rusty and old looking..

Gun's i believe that would suit rusts play style, Semi auto carbines,Bolt action sniper rifles or rifles, Double barrel shotguns, cross bows (just a few off the top of my head)

I would like to see guns/bullets Much, much, much more harder to make/find. (Especially modern weapons)

    HAVE YOUR SAY :D
I agree. Havent had the chance to respond, but voted yes. An M4, for example, should be an end-game weapon, heh, rather than just throwing 200 metal fragments together in a matter of minutes from logging in.

A very gradual progression from, lets say even more primitive than originally mentioned, a flintlock style rifle & pistol, to a rudimentary 6-shooter, etc., on down the line, of which each progressively better weapon-type is inherently much more challenging, rare, and time-consuming to craft.
