Post #1RUST is crashing when im launching the game! im playing for 20-40 seconds and then the unity get fattal error and crashing!

Have you tried clearing your unity cache? Might also be because of the new grass that was added (Most AMD users are crashing upon start up, or within about 2-5 seconds playing)

how to clean it? you mean re-install? already tryed it

Im having the same problem using an AMD graphics card. What do i do?

I'm using AMD and getting some serious graphic bugs, huge black graphic textures across the whole screen, happens a lot and mostly in firefights which is very annoying.
I install unity player but it doesn't say it's installed on the link :s
Tried with admin etc and uninstalled closed browsers reinstalled and it still doesn't recognise as installed. I've also tried mozilla and chrome both seem as bad as each other.
Also rolled back driver on GC (7850) and installed new beta driver and hasn't seen an improvement
Anyone got any ideas?

ok figured out the issue unity is now giving computer bugs a medium risk virous for some odd reason i went into my virous program and restored unity and its working but im gonna have to deffinetly do a system scan now :( really? unity holding a virus?

Hmmm I hadn't thought of checking my quarantined items I'll check when i get home. Are you sure it's a virus and not a false positive? what firewall/virus programme are you using?

my rust also kicks me out, as I have just started it. with the message: it wants use my microphone and record thing ô.o
can some1 explain this to me?

Yeah the mic thing is about the permission to use your microphone so you could use VOIP in the game so just accept it, don't worry.

It only helps with the fact of being able to use the VOIP otherwise don't think that It'll help with the crash :(

well, pal. The main problem is, that i can't accept that mic thing at all. After downloading and preparing the whole game, instantly the error appears -> "Unity crashed".
It doesnt react if I click on the screen. Then Chrome crashes and I have to restart it with the Task-Manager :/

the white window on the "mic thing" is the basic UnityError with the "send us your problem or not and if you want, insert here your e-mail for request" stuff.
PS: sorry about the white on the bottom of the pic <_<

I experienced the same issue for a few days, when i came back to Rust after awhile.. I had no issues.

I'm also curious about what extension you hid in the corner. Blocking out your bookmarks bar make sense, of course.

UWP should be up to date 'cause I downloaded it today like I bought my key today :p

You could try updating from windows XP.
I heard windows 7 is good. (Sorry if my assumption is wrong and you are just using an old layout type on win 7.)

No clue, but it's a good idea, as Microsoft is no longer going to be releasing updates for windows XP and the update servers have also been shut down, so it would be safer for you to update.
