They never bother with statements.They just take $200k and never actually let us know what going on. This happened last night, see the thread here:

The mod justified not keeping customers informed by saying that it would get the server fixed quicker. It only takes one minute to write a very brief statement and let us know whats happening.

Im going out on a limb here. Since they are hiring, im guessing they are understaffed, which means they are most likely busy pretty much all the time. Give them a chance, its not like there isnt any servers up.

Regardless, a quick message from somebody in charge would be nice. Great game, bad customer service. EA is more helpful when you pay the half the money I paid for this game.

fucking lol, I'm not a mod. Green colour are mods. I'm a Gold Member, and glods are just morons like you as far as this goes. In fact, check your ratings in that comment of yours that described me as a mod if you want to see the green for mods.

For the server, please don't complain, it's an alpha, they won't add server because they want to try stress test constantly, and server can be down for some reason, you paid for the game, the early access is just a bonus ;)

Why do you people constantly feel the need to remind everyone its an alpha. I realise its an alpha and I do not care that the server is down.

My point is simple...

If customers pay you $200,000 because they like your work and want to support you. You should treat your customers well and inform them of outages!

It takes a few minutes to make a sticky thread in the forum to let us know about outages or maintenance. Being in alpha does not mean they cannot take a few minutes to let their supporters know whats going ion.

For future reference, a good starting point is the link at the bottom right of basically every single page on facepunch.com labeled "Moderators". Making rash assumptions is also one of the consequences you face if you choose to dive headfirst into a community without taking the time to explore it for yourself and learn a bit about how it operates.

Anyway, moving on. I do agree that the devs kind of seem to drop the ball on letting people know what's up in much of a timely fashion. I don't think anyone's expecting instant updates, of course, but there needs to be something going on.

The @Playrust Twitter account hasn't tweeted since September 18th with Garry explaining to someone why their free alpha account got toasted in the great idle purge.

Ok, I agree. I should have read up on the community first. You're right about that.

I am glad you see my point about the devs keeping us informed. EU server has been down for nearly eight hours now and the devs have not bothered to say anything. I cannot comprehend why they do not take two minutes out of their schedule to inform us.
