I dont see what the problem is with rust being $30-$60 that about price of a normal game in the US and at $60 its £40 here which is a normal price of game.

Whether or not it worth that much you will have to wait and see but its more or less pre ordering a game and then playing it untill it comes out.

The only problem I have with the pricing is that the company base in the UK and yet they dont use £ and it would have been nice to know about the extra fees before hand.

I'm going to risk drifting away from the whole money discussion with a question :P
    It involves, well, money.

    • we don't know what the final price will be, it won't be free to play
It seems obvious that it won't be COMPLETELY "free to play."
My question is: Will it be "pay-AS-you-play"? (monthly)

I guess "free to play" sounds like the opposite of that, but I doubt that's how it was meant, and it doesn't seem like a monthly-payment type game either.

Thought it was a buy to play format with the standard option to rent private server, MP hosting and so forth eventually?
I can see paying for expansions, but would really hate to see this become a subscription based game as well.

you really think you got scammed?
this is too high profile to be a scam, not sure how the cdkeys are handed out, based on your post i hope you typed your contact details in correctly.

on a side not, there is 250 cd keys now, thats a bonus, it might get below $35 now!

Miss having an account. I keep trying to buy it but they're all sold out when I wake up because of the timezone difference.

Plus I'm pretty sure my name's been taken by now.

Well darn. I hope the line isn't too tough on Saturday. When I leave for work, the price is still at around $100. When I get back home, its already reset back to $240!

Boyfriend is under the impression that the Rust keys are no longer being sold (he saw the store offline) and was sad. Good thing I came back to offer to throw my money at people to get him one for his birthday this weekend :'D

Buying today. Stalking the shit out of the site.

I would suggest buying when it gets down to 50 or 40 keys at the lowest....they really start flying when the numbers are that low.

You can now buy keys here:

    http://www.playrust.com/buy/

Before you freak out at the price - watch the buy button for a couple of seconds. You will notice that the price is dropping.
