I noticed people reselling keys for $60+ on eBay. I think people are getting blocks of keys here then reselling them on eBay for a massive markup.
Garry should make it so you can only buy 2 or 3 keys per day to keep people from doing this.

Gz to all of you that got a Key today :) $45 + $9 Fee from paypal is abit to much for a key for me. But i am happy for Harry and the crew that working on the game getting the support from those who can afford it :) Hope you spend most of the cash in the game and giving us all a great game when it drops!

Because this is an auction. If they wait, someone else will grab one. The people who absolutely want a key, and have $45 to spend, have very little reason to let it go lower and risk losing their chance altogether. I must say that this is one of the most clever ways of selling alpha keys I've ever seen. It automatically determines the highest price that most people are willing to pay, and that price is around $50. Also, the fact that they want to sell a limited amount of keys actually helps drive the price higher. So they're getting more money and fewer people flooding the server.

This is a pity, there are thousands of players wanting to discover bugs and knowing all this work and willing to pay, but the financial reality of all is not the same .... even the "old" stop buying due to price excessively abusive even with all the money being invested in the game itself is a shame to deprive so many, I just hope that when the game gets in their stage of functioning "normal" things are a bit different, but I also believe that this is a great marketing trick

C'est comme acheter un jeux vidéo pour 60$ (hors de Steam—il n'y a pas beaucoup des jeux de 60$ là); vouz pouvez le jouer plus tôt so vous payez plus. Pour quelques jeux c'est différent comme Minecraft ou Starbound, Arma III etc où les étapes de développement étaient moins cher.

Ecoute, ici sur Facepunch, c'est pas une question de "racisme" ou de xénophobie envers les français — si tu ne te comportes pas avec un minimum de politesse envers les autres, il ne faut pas s'attendre à être bien accueilli.
Il s'avère que, pour une raison ou une autre, la plupart des français ici débarquent avec une attitude qui est franchement malsaine.
C'est pas parce qu'on est sur Internet qu'il faut oublier qu'il y a des personnes de l'autre côté du clavier... faut pas antagoniser sur tous ces rapports sociaux.

Je suis tout à fait d'accord sur le fait que des français agissent stupidement en jeu et qui, ainsi, dégradent l'image des autres. Je n'ai pas voulu me montrer stupide en écrivant cela mais j'en ai un peu marre de certaines personnes qui, dès qu'on essaie d'engager une conversation avec eux en jeu, nous tue uniquement car on est français. (Exemple : Le joueur me tue, puis écris dans le chat : Fucking French.)

I can confess that I am, along with bunch of people, one of those people. French people for me personally have ruined experience of gaming on many online games, including League of Legends, DotA 2 and Rust. Some people are cool to a certain point but when it comes to false accusation of hacking, duping, griefing, offline raiding and shit - I'll take it serious and do my best to ruin their experience aswell.

Eh mon ami, ici on est un forum anglais. On n'est pas supposé à parlé français si on n'est pas dans un conversation français. la plupart des personnes ici ne peut pas te comprendre. Si vous utilisez la google translate c'est plus acceptable que écrire en français partout. Je ne dis pas que la français est mal choses, c'est seulement que on seulement parle l'anglais ici pour que tous restant simple.
C'est un peu stupide à penser que les anglophones ici vont te comprendre.
I find most french people are perfectly cool dudes on online games. Only ones I've had a bad experience with are Quebecers. They'll ban you for having an english accent in your french.
