"Earlier today russian authorities reported that four men had been shot to death after trespassing a military area belonging to VDI in the Ural Mountains.
According to VDI they were spotted in the outskirts of a cargo zone loading suspicious items onto a ukrainian-registered white van, when asked to identify themselves the four men opened fire before entrering their vehicle.

The vehicle then proceeded to ram the front gate, VDI security forces managed to block off all of the roads leading down from the base. The van eventually ran into one of the road blocks, since it did not stop or show signs of speed reduction the VDI soldiers opened fire.
Shortly after crashing into a heap of snow two of the armed men, who were wounded from the initial shots fired by VDI soldiers, opened fire again which resulted in their deaths. Two suspects fled the site by making a 10ft jump into dense forest beside the road.
The soldiers on site reported that before jumping one of the men screamed in a unknown language and that the other man blindfired his weapon in a "Unprofessional, almost dangerous, way."

The two dead men were identified as ukrainian citizens with no military service record, both had connections to the Towerlight-supplied militia operating in south-west Russia and Ukraine.
Officials from the militia claim that they have nothing to do with the four militants and that "Their actions should not reflect upon the goals and work done by the militia."

VDI are yet to announce what was salvaged in the van.

"Two hours ago TPA security forces stationed at the TPA-VDI "Buffert-zone"/DMZ received a local call from a anonymous person about gunfire being heard from a nearby derelict mountain village in a scarcely populated area south of the DMZ. TPA quickly dispatched several squads of soldiers to the area in order to investiagte and found 11 dead men, all whom had been killed by either one gunshot or by a quick stab to one of the critical organs.

The TPA soldiers reported that a unknown force had raided the village and killed the men, it is still unclear how or why the village was raided although local TPA security chief Nikolai Zthurskov have a theory:
"The dead men did not belong to any official military force so it is safe to say they were either militants or terrorists awaiting orders or guarding something within the village. So far my men have aquired evidence that alot of paperwork from various buildings in the village have been moved and that one of the vehicles found in the village had been used to transport something that emits a small amount of radiation.
It is possible that they have used the vehicle to transport a explosive device although we can't tell when they did."

According to the report by the soldiers every building had been breached.

I would say it is disgracefull for Tbonia to hide in times like these, but. I'm looking on the bright side today, as should you. Think of all the Mordian sectors to fight in when they return.

VDI have set up checkpoints, guarding all roads leading up to the Ural Mountains.
Everyone who is travelling towards the mountains is searched and questioned before they are allowed to continue driving.

New elite soldiers have been seen performing patrols and leading the regulars of VDI.
