But the way some of you are treating Jacknife is childish and immature, The fact is Jacknife hasn't done anything in this thread that has broken OP rules, you are punishing him for things he has done in the past, and things that you think he will commit in the future.

Jacknife has done numerous "bad" things to me, but even I can look past it if he wants to improve and join in this thread, if you want to be a good OP FT you should learn to be neutral and not side with your friends.

Quite a few of us welcomed Japan as a welcome break. After all, at a glance containing riots is a walk in the park compared to wandering around in the Afghan desert with insurgents and IEDs at every corner.

Turns out that rioters like their IEDs too. Pipe bombs, molotovs, the works. Riot shields can deflect litter, stones, and all that, but they're useless against some petrol in a bottle that ignites as soon as the glass shatters. Good thing we packed fire retardant uniforms for this trip. I've heard reports of gunmen engaging the PGI and ODQ lads, as well as the Tbonians. We don't have much in the way of lethal ammunition down here, at least not for the next few hours, so we better hope we can knock down the buggers before they pull the trigger.

Yesterday, we ran into four rioters. They waved at us with a baseball bat, and we responded with how we usually do - trucheons and tear gas. Subduing them was easy after that, and after searching them we found quite a few 'cocktails' and pipe bombs. I can't help but wonder what they could have done with that ordnance. A squaddie happened to take a picture of me searching the last one, and I'll throw it in here for prosperity.



Rumours have going around that some bunch from 'FlintValley' are coming because PGI are sheltering some fellow. Japan is suddenly turning far more dangerous than a simple case of unruly masses. At least Mr. Sackville will be sending some serious firepower over in the next supply drop, so I can rest somewhat more easily than I otherwise might.
