I know, just saying that it is quite stupid to get raw chicken from a pig.
If you rename it meat, it is a little less stupid and you can still stack all meat.
What he's saying is, your OCD about it not being the right kind of meat dropping off the right kind of animal is a case of trying to fix what isn't broken, practically-speaking. At the moment, it makes no difference either way. Yes, it could be renamed, but why change it if, for the moment, it's working fine? Computers tend to break when you change them, and sometimes in weird and unexpected ways.

Changing things for the sake of change is the sign of a reckless coder.

It's easy as fk to set up a base man, start with shelter in first minute, move to 1x1 house then build up, ofc don't build next to a 5 man team base...

i think what they need to do is a complete wipe and then make this change.

    - Whe nyou die you lose your blueprints that you reasearched/learned.

So they cant just keeping rebuilding M4's and other kinda gun. And would make blueprints much valuable and more people would go in radiation zones just to find some.
WOW! That's such a great idea! Make the people who are in power first the ONLY people in power! This would literally make who ever has the guns rule everyone. They'd have a huge base, filled with M4's and like a group of 15 or something ridiculous. They'd always be ready to kill.

The problem is, I always seem to get pwned by roaming bandits before I can build anything more than a 1x1. No matter where I am. It takes longer to get pwned by bandits, but it still takes longer to get the wood in that area. There's no winning unless you read one of those goddam blueprints or better yet: Get the elusive teamwork!

Than maybe make it so that you dont try to build a house but try to get your hands on blueprints and when you have the blueprints you need start using your life to build a house

I solo and survive doing it. Take about 2 hours trying to break into houses. Learn what works and what doesn't work. Don't spend your time building something that ends up having a weakness. Don't store things in bulk on your person while you gather. Make medium sized trips back and fourth so even if you die, they don't get much in the long run. Do all your crafting behind a locked door, and have a plan for raiders. The higher ground always wins for defence, so work that into your structure.

If all of that fails, post some shit on the internet about how hard you suck.

I've seen clips of men gunned down as they spawn by higher end banditos decked with an M4. Feedback on that kind of thing needs to be sent in by more people! Things like anti-camping measures could end up being implemented.. Just a thought though.

Alternative solution would be that there's a CHANCE that you'd lose something you've already researched. Not always but sometimes.

Having friends play with you isn't essential, but advised to survive in this game. This is hard to come by though when the main idea of the game is "don't trust anyone". Just try and stay away from the inner parts of the map, which is where a lot of players build and kill. Find a secluded area and gather resources, preferably a gun before heading deeper into the map. Hope this helps!

It's not really being "fearful of others" when you expect to be shot at as soon as you spawn. It's just irritating.

The problem is that when some people spawn in they think they are safe. They don't run for cover and start derping around, then they get killed.

No. Not a nerf, we need a fresh-spawn specific area. So players can kind of get a foothold before wandering off. Again, people just kill streamers, and random players OVER and OVER... for what? So they can laugh and say: "You're such a noob! "LOL" "Quit dying!" "It's only the FUCKING STRONGEST WEAPON IN THE GAME."

You don't have to "derp around" to get shot on sight as soon as you spawn.

The easy solution is just to put "high level" materials far away from the spawn. As in, Blueprints for things like the shotgun, mp5, and/or M4 should be far away, and the materials to build those weapons (idk make like coal for steel or some shit.) far away as well. It pushes people to go away from the spawn area. Pop in some more resource spots and it's a solution. I mean, yes the high level players can come back, but that's just being a asshole and you won't get much useful things from new spawns and "low level" players.

Alright.. let's look at how this problem resolved itself in DayZ. Players had voice. They could communicate on a level, and make alliances, truces, explain the situation.. etc.
Here: No voice. Everyone is a bloodthirsty maniac, or a good person who kills because they need to.
So either, we get a voice/communication going.. Or we set-up a spawn treaty.

That and it's far better than typing for bandits to stop while you're being shot at lol

I think the fear comes from when you actually have stuff to lose to them. When you spawn, you get killed before you have reason to be fearful of others.

And that is the cause of combat-logging. You're also right, if I had an axe, why would I care? Then I get an M4, well that's totally different.

I would like to see "Safe Zones" custom built villages (unbreakable) where people can Spawn or Trade. Safe Zone should be wide so that people could run away to any direction without getting insta shot (it needs more rethinking). Also the loot spawns are a bit dumb. When you find a safe place to stay - no loot. And of course the M4 problem has to be fixed. It's damage is TOO DAMN HIGH!
This isn't WarZ, we don't need a safe place for people to camp other while they try to run.

You actually don't anymore, it's permanent, but you can get doubles of any blueprint, so it'll take a while to get all of them.

They're afraid to get hacked in the face. One video on YouTube had a guy with almost 30 hatchets. Basically all of them are like "dogtags" he collected from killing people, now that's a pro.

I actually think I stole his hatchets
He had them in a storage chest in his shack, and I blew up the door a few minutes after I saw him walk out. Stole about 27 or so. I then started fucking with luke's base, and I managed to get through a window they have on the second floor and tried to kill luke. I got 6 hits on him with hatchet but he had kevlar on. He killed me and I don't know what happened next.

its not the fact its too difficult its just that its difficult for solo players that fresh spawn if you don't have a team on the game then your practically screwed.

why are you ranting about a fresh spawn being easy to kill yes but the game is not hard at all go to a location were there is less likely to run in to people the map is far bigger than the area near to roads i have a nice spot were sure it takes me 5 mins to travel to nearest resource but there is vurtualy no one that comes near my home base and i very rarely have to get in to a gun fight less i stumble upon a hostile every couple of hour and never realy need to worry as i can stack on resource like no other the game is easy if you make sure your home base is not as simple to find check out the map size on the maps in forums its not hard as long as you think smart running around the road or not waching your back when out collecting is the only ways you will die fast

Jayex23 on YouTube lasted long enough to get an M4 by simply staying by the coast and only going out with his hatchet, so it's not that difficult.
