Hey there guys, I was just wondering what Rust's minimum system requirements are.

My laptop can't run the game apparently and it's all in good timing since I'm planning to buy a new one sometime next month.
So can you guys give me it's MSRs?

    I currently have:

    GEFORCE G205M 512MB (CUDA)
    and 2GB of RAM

    Thanks in advance

Your graphics card's gonna be the problem, I'm pretty sure.

Try using the search function, too, before you make a new thread, next time.

I think it's the GPU that's the issue, but can you tell us what the CPU is?

Integrated laptop graphics = you're fucked. Sorry, bud. As far as Rust is concerned, your GPU is a potato.

Oh I forgot to put that in, it's Intel Pentium Dual-Core CPU.
And yes I do know that Pentium isn't the best.

Unless you want to spend a lot of money on a gaming laptop or get a (far cheaper) desktop PC, you're out of luck.

To answer the question on system requirements, the game's in alpha, there are currently no set requirements that I'm aware of. If you get a mid-range machine with a decent gaming video card (discrete, not integrated graphics), you should be okay. Note: Mid-range on a laptop is going to add another 50% onto the price compared to an equivalent desktop PC. If you can, get a desktop box.

I am going to buy a new laptop, since getting a PC isn't one of my options because of a whole lot of reasons. I don't have much of a choice really.

You need an overall better PC or laptop. RAM is low, CPU probably sucks, and the GPU is just bad. No way you can run Rust (atleast not more than 10fps).
