It's like their promotional efforts are centered around getting copies of the game in the hands of people with a large reach who can get the message out to a tremendous number of people at the same time. Strangely, celebrities have a lot of people following them on social media and such, so this situation tends to overlap nicely.
It's nothing personal, it's straightforward, unemotional logic.
