I am going to hold a contest here to win a 3D printed Rust key chain. There are 5 categories to win, and one winner will be chosen from each category. The winners will be chosen 7 days from now, and I will be choosing the winners (although I would love to hear who you guys think should win.) Below I will outline each category, and what I am looking for. When you make your post with your entry, you must say what category you are entering, And tell me a little bit about how you made it I WILL KNOW IF YOU PLAGIARIZED SOMEONE ELSE'S WORK!
Category 1 - Drawing
I know there was already a drawing contest, but I saw so much good work that didn't make it in I thought I would give you guys another opportunity to use them. All drawings have the same criteria as before, so make sure you use the thumbnail tag. Please no huge images with [image] thank you. The drawing must be done on paper, but you can use whatever art supplies you have.
Category 2 - Digital art.
This category is for photoshop, and that kind of thing. It is for pictures made on the computer. The picture must contain the words "play rust" and be rust related, same as above please use thumbnail tags if the image is large. This includes screenshots and comics made in GMOD.
Category 3 - Video
This category is for rust video, it doesn't matter if it's gameplay video or if it is just rust related, but quality matters! Please use the video tags to embed.
Category 4 - Writing
This category is for a creative story or poem about rust. Please take time in this category as it is the least visually impressive. Profanity is allowed, but don't be stupid. Make it something worth winning.
Category 5 - Freestyle
This category is for anything else rust related, and a note if you make me laugh you will probably have a better chance of winning. If it doesn't fit into any of the other categories then you are entered into this one. This category may end up being a place for second best in one of the other categories to win.
Only one entry per person, you can post for more than one category, but only one post will be counted as an entry. If you enter for category 2 and then decide you want to be in category 3, let me know in the second post or your first entry is the one I will count.
I am doing this because I really like the concept of this game, and I would like to offer some incentive for people to start producing quality content related to it. A copy of my "Rust Alpha" key will also be included (this is not a key to play the game it is a gag key made on my 3D printer)
In one week when the winners are chosen you will receive a PM from me.
This contest is unofficial and I am not affiliated with the rust team or facepunch studios.

Just in case it wasn't clear I do NOT have rust alpha game keys that will let you play. This is for a physical prize which will be shipped to you if you win. Not a game key. No game keys.

That would go in category 5 if it is just audio, or into the video category if you make a video of it. It could also go into category 4 if you just paste the lyrics you wrote.

Hey man, I'd love to take category 4. But I've got a question.
How long should a story be ? I can write like 20 sites or just 1 1/2.

Arrrhghgh....Here's my entry for Category 1. Took me about 3 hours in total, not counting breaks and shit. I did A LOT of erasing too. This is probably a full drawn picture I've done in a while, and it felt good.
I hate being first for anything....

Yeah, I should've made the elbow more visible and the arm more proportionate, which raises the question, can we fix/resubmit our entries? Or are all submissions final?

I made them 50% bigger So now each winner will receive one small key chain, one big key chain, and one gag key! (and they may just get printed one more time if the acetone doesn't clean them up enough)

Category 4:
I hope it's ok that Im writing it here, sorry if it's in the wrong place.
We were running through the woods, in front of us was an abounded old house. As we walked through the rusty door it began to shriek and the planks on the floor began to make creepy noises, like it was going to collapse any second. I closed the door quickly and put something heavy in front of it, my friend Jack, went to the kitchen to look for some food, I looked for anything else worth grabbing, such as weapons, water, clothes, etc. Suddenly we heard roaring outside, a whole herd of zombies trying to break through the door, they must have followed us when I fired that shot in the city, just before we entered the forest. Quickly I looked around and found a backpack with a knife and a can of beans inside it, someone must have been preparing to travel, but it had gotten to late. I too the backpack meeting up with Jack in the kitchen, who had found a packet of crackers, a bottle of water, and a shovel. We ran through the backdoor, hoping not to be seen or heard by the zombies. We had made some progress, all we hope is to find someplace to start all over again, are journey continues as we travel the wastelands.
I hope you liked it! Might consider making a part 2 if people are interested.

BTW I am taking the communities opinion as my #1 determining factor in choosing winners, I just have the final say to avoid any chance of cheating/manipulating (like if I did it as a poll)

would have been cooler if you printed a key identifier instead so that people can just slip it on their normal house key, and used the "rust" logo instead of the ugly weird curved "rust alpha" shit you used, but I understand that it was for a joke.
