Good work, could be improved by a few of the suggestions but it's a good attempt.
Ignore the cockends who are literally being mardy pricks. You're entitled to make shit like this, and you never know Garry might like it enough to want to use it.

In all honesty, all programs like those would benefit from having free non-commmercial versions. Many who have an interest in 3D and such end up pirating the programs, and then when they get good enough to make a living from it they finally buy it.
Having a free non-commercial version would probably give you more customers, since they won't have to go the route of piracy to learn how to use it.

Facepunch isn't some kind of hivemind, no matter how much you want to blame the criticism on FP rather than the video.

Anyways, the intro seems little....too much. I can understand you worked hard, but Rust is a simple game that doesn't need a complex and very detailed looking intro.

The texture doesn't move with the pieces of the logo
also the live footage of the debris going upwards is weird
the digital-wire-frame explosion thing doesn't match the style of the rest of the animation
there is no way this took 4 days to render.
I work at an ad agency doing VFX for commercials and documentaries, so at least take my advice a tiny bit. You can't mash in a bunch of different effects from tutorials and plugins and expect something unique and artistic.

Granted the visual effects are not perfect ( The random explosion at 0:05 is out of place), but all and all this was a nice edit, if you really wanted to use this or make it better take some of the constructive criticism and add it. Good job though :D

Looks great, but it doesn't fit the idea of rust imo. It's a little bit, i dunno, heavy? i think. Something lighter and simpler would fit perfectly.
