Another Zombie game.. Would like to see something a little bit different than just Zombie Survivals. They all seem to be closely related and so far the most recent ones i.e. War Z have just been a failure. Doesn't look bad but doesn't look much different to anything out at the moment.

Still - looking forward to seeing what the Zombies in Rust will be replaced with.

That's why im looking forward to this game, its got those RPG elements, and the Tower Defense elements.
It looks pretty good.

Both Rust and 7DTD are very early in their development but at this stage it seems 7DTD has got more of a survival feel to it(going by video's) which appeals to me. Rust currently has a more FPS feel to it but I am sure once more NPC features are added this will change. For me I will be playing both!

I have not played Rust so I cannot tell. But I got bored after a days playtime with 7D2D. And that is because it is in alpha development - the game is too easy and there is not really anything to do other than scavenge.

7D2D just doesn't have enough content, but it will when it's further developed, it is just a pre-alpha anyway.

I had pre-ordered it through their website--I absolutely regret buying it. I understand it's in alpha ATM (side note: so is Grim Dawn and Sir, You Are Being Hunted and both are better), nevertheless, it's clunky as hell, the zombies are incredibly easy to kill/avoid, night-time is long and boring (you can't even gather materials seeing as how the zombies know where you are at all times and move awkwardly fast at night) and the world is quite ugly and barren (looked better in videos and it's not my video card--GTX 770).

All in all--boring and disappointing.

This all just IMO, of course.
