I think you should be create an account to be put into a waiting list for key. Yeah it'd be easier for people who don't care as much to get a key, but I think it discourages people to be so involved in the forums and activities to never end up being a part of the action. But I do agree with the process though, eliminate those who aren't interested.

They can register all they want, doesn't mean they are going to get a key. It's obvious you need to throw in some obvious dedication to get the key, which isn't a bad Idea. They make us fight in the pit of forums for a key, see our contributions, and maybe we get a key. Better than just waiting in line for a key.

I'll admit I registered for this game, but I'm not begging for a key. I just want to become known on this part of the forums and maybe make some friends before I eventually/hopefully buy this game when it's possible to do so.
I've looked through a lot of threads and none I can reply to because they're all talking about the game and I'd feel wrong to ask about it because people hate new users that just want this game.

What do you honestly expect? Just because they register doesn't make them bad people, some of them just want to play and help develop the game.
Everyone starts somewhere so cut them some slack instead of constantly hating on them and leave them be.

Anyway, I was going to say "the general population," "the fact that it's browser based," or "dying after making a shitton of progress," but the thing I hate the most? The fucking keybeggers+those who go "Not having a key" in this thread as if it was more subtle than "OH BOY I SURE WISH I HAD A KEY."

Which is a known typo. The devs have repeatedly called this an alpha/early alpha. Get with the program man.

Been with the program for a month, been trying to get a beta key for three weeks, entered drawing and still nothing. I can post all I want, get banned and wouldn't care. I will just go back to Xbox 360 and PC to play better games than this closed / private alpha "Beta key required" game. You can ban a forum member, but you can't ban a customer from buying a product.
