The community.

The excitement! Man, It's really pulling a great effect, C'mon guys, we wait, and wait, for the chance to get a glimpse of the game before it really is ready to be what it will be (wut.), But the suspense is what keeps us active and waiting! I personally, am impatient in matters like this, but hey, this effect keeps us roped in. The games going to be great, and the suspenseful wait and hope will make the release that much better. :D

The constant and relentless begging for keys, which is clogging up the forum.
Or the fact that people don't take the time to read rules and FAQ's before posting about the game in the forums or actually jumping in game

Well I'm happy for the games success so I can't say I mind the influx of...young people. Not overly stoked to see the amount of entitlement displayed in this community toward newcomers, but again, such is life.
I guess I don't currently hate a single thing about this game thus far. I dislike that I won't be playing with my friends for a while yet, however, since I'm privileged enough to be involved with the game from the alpha onward means I'll probably stay with this game for a long time. They will come later.

I hate that the real game doesn't start until you get a metal door
I hate that I can't give people access to my doors
I hate that I can't remove structures I have built
I hate my neighbors on the hill :P
That's all I can think of right now. Love everything else. Good news is I am confident they will all be addressed at some point.

First lets start off with the community. Its shit. Twelve year olds begging for a game and flooding the forums.
The fact that the game is browser based isnt too good either. Being browser based it fucks up all my tabs I have open and eats away at my computers resource. Seriously, a game like this should not take 1.3gb of ram. The performance ingame is poor and sluggish. Constantly my keys get stuck making me swing, or walk forward and there is nothing I can do. The aiming gets stuck too most of the time. The overall movement of unity (for what they have a tleast) is pretty bad.
I understand its alpha, but Im still saying what I hate about Rust right now. As for the game itself, its tasteless, and empty. It throws you in an island somewhere, no story, nothing. Military guys are running around, finding blueprints for guns on zombies, making guns out of metal they mined from rocks with a hatchet, and building shit shacks everywhere. Ah, I feel like I could just rant on forever why I dont like Rust.

I would have to say the wait... Watching streams constantly is just making it worse... Whenever I have access to a browser of some sort I have quite a few windows open so I can keep my eye out for new information.
Apart from that... The npc enemy's seem to be quite dull from what I have seen so far. Hopefully they will get some attention and love as time goes on.

I read somewhere that possibly Rust would be going on Steam. Meaning they would have to make a change from browser based in order to go to Steam.
As for the other things, won't they come along in time as well? The story, the mechanics etc?

Ridiculously low droprate of metal door blueprints.
Spend almost 2 days straight killing zombies and going through factories non-stop. literally non-stop zombie killing, building looting spree and not a single drop. My house got raided meanwhile as I would not go to base but sit near zombies if it went dark so I could start killing again when the visibility was even a little bit better.
All the groups that have metal door blocking off major crate spawn areas with metal doors does not help either.
