So far i have made the loading screen and i think this would look awesome for Open-alpha!


When the client is green then its up to date.
But when its red...The Client needs to be updated.

Very Nice Maybe at somthing idk but it needs somthing else mayb?

You're not bad, but that symbol is more associated with STALKER than Rust, try shrinking it and using other images to represent the game
Maybe some landscapes from the game

i was thinking the same thing, maybe not having the radiation symbol as a main thing in the picture and having something more game-related would make it better. Im not saying its bad, i like it anyways.

I suggest making the lighting on it look more like a flashlight is shining on it. Look up a video from The Last of Us videogame and look at how the flashlight hits on everything. That would be perfect for this! Just a suggestion. Gj though it looks dooooope :D

Yeah I think the hatchet has become the main icon/symbol for rust. I definitely think that it should be involved in some form.

The first one could be the real loading screen for the game, looks simple and cool, i like it.

Good job on the first two. (Quick question: Did you draw the 2nd picture? Because it's incredible.) The two on the bottom could be better by adding some dramatic flare to them. (ex. Walking Dead has a greenish tint to their overall color pallet and their graphics have more of a grungy feel instead of a clean look.) Also keep in mind that there's radiation, zombies, people that will hunt you down for mere clothes, and things of the sort that are mixed up in this "post apocalyptic" genre, so if you can translate what I've just said to you, in a graphical format, I guarantee you're going to love your work even more.

Just some advice from a fellow designer :)

then what is even the point? All you did was take concept art for world war z and slapped rust on it. The title says "Making GFX for Rust" but all you did was download gimp and slap shit together.

I think they are taking zombies out of the game, but this is still some great artwork!
also, you should focus a little more on the survival aspects of the game, like building,gathering and crafting, because you do much more of that than actual fighting.
