@Stuvi - I can't take complete credit, I just heavily revised it from another users contributions.
I'll definitely be doing what I can to contribute. Rust is obviously awesome.
Good work on all of the articles you've built. The wiki is taking off quickly, and it's obviously in large part thanks to you.

Steam group I don't know, but the twitter feed could be so people get to know, when new stuff comes up on the site.
Perhaps you have been waiting for a certain tutorial, and when they get it, you can see it on twitter, and rush in and watch it.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, we're trying to use Twitter and Steam to keep people up-to-date. We will also try to publish news such as Updates or significant changes/wipes/inventory wipes trough them. Nobody has to use it, that's the nice thing. If they do, fine :)

I've taken care of it. Stuff like that usually happens in a Wiki. There is no need to make such a big deal out of it. :DNot sure if this is the kind of material you'd want on a wiki. To each their own I guess...

But yes, stay away from that site. It is nothing more than a scam to get you to fill out a survey.
The admins are doing their best to rollback any malicious changes and ban the offending users.

idk if youre "giveaway" on twitch with the rust keys were legit or not, but how about showing the rolls for the stream in the future?
everyone thinks youre a fake now, course you did it off streams view ... you might as well be handing it to a buddy or who knows if there even was a key to begin with?

He originally was banned by a mod, but was quickly unbanned by Garry.
To address the "giveaway". I assure you that the keys are legit. I was chatting in game with one of the winners shortly after his key was given to him. I'm sure you can track him down on the forums here as well.
So, that being said, while your paranoia is completely unfounded and without merit, we will see what we can do to ease the "fears" of the community.
Let me explain why we did it the way we did.
The PlayRustWiki Twitch account is not owned by me. I am just an authorized user who can stream to the account. This also means that any of the Twitch.tv features that go along with that account are not available to me.
PlayRustWiki, who owns the account used NightBot because it was a simple solution to pick a winner. He was not streaming, so there was no way to show the selection on screen. I'll see about getting the login details for NightBot so we can stream the roll this time around.
TL;DR - You're worse than Fox News. This isn't the apocolypse. We'll see what we can do.

I don't get why we should stream that. If you don't believe it's real, simply don't join the twitch channel.
If it would be fake, the thread would have been closed long time ago... we have keys and we are giving them away. Period.

not very hard to use this app and roll from the dashboard like everyone else does ... what you are doing is pretty shady and if you plan to easy ppls minds i suggest you stream the roll or be called out as a faker

When I do give-aways on my stream I always set the stream to my desktop and use that.

I would love to contribute to the wiki, but the only things I know about the game are from what other people have already contributed, or from the Livestreams & Commentators. Can't wait for the public release.

1,500 live viewers? Jesus shit, the game's in pre-alpha and already warranting huge streams... I don't even want to think of what it'll be like once the game goes into beta.
