With all the map wipes I thought it might be a good idea to document our base designs for posterity's sake. I wasn't able to find a thread like this so I started one myself. If you have screenshots/videos of your bases post them here! I would love to see what interesting designs you came up with.
To start things off, here are my last three bases in chronological order:

My third coastal base. Simple 2x1 tower design with 6 stories in total and 3 usable ones. The surrounding area was pretty calm but low on ressources. Eventually fell victim to a speedhacker (Racy) in this base but it was very solid and easily defendable against regular bandits.

My largest project yet. Built with a building glitch that I found and later reported to Helk (should be fixed with this update). Inner and outer fortifications with a central tower platform. The entry Geogzm and his team used to get in was the weak point of the base. Built as an auxiliary entry for a friend it had only 2 doors in total which made it very easy to penetrate (The main entry we later see in the video had 6 doors!). You can see how long it took the guys to get into the ground floor, still. Things would have turned out very different for the raiders if the base was manned when they made made their entry.

Last base built before the server downtime, still with the glitch active. This is my most secure build yet. Central inner 1x1 tower surrounded by 4x4 fortification wall and an outer maze of pillars and doors. one entry point secured by 10 doors in total (outer and inner fortifications taken into account). The pillars make an entry via stairs/ramps very hard. Players who would fall down into the maze weren't able to escape without building a barricade/box or hacking their way through 1-4 doors (if they knew which way was out). No bridge between inner tower and foundation wall. If a player were to fall down this pit he was an easy target. All in all my favorite base yet. Without the duplication gitch I won't be able to build anything as impressive in the near future, though.
In my next built I will have to focus on efficient ressource usage. Will be hard to find a compromise between total cost in wood and security but I will try my best.
