Oh god, I saw that one too. Your base lagged the fuck out of me, I couldn't be in the area without getting 6 FPS. I mean my FPS isn't too decent away from it either, but it drops to unbearable when I see that thing.

How do you know it's Garry. You can't see the name and click the "1" either. :/

yeah! I spent over 6 hours crafting and building 2 last floors and the tower. And then BOOM 70h update and probably wipe .....

Thanks! Your base sounds very impressive! Too bad I didn't have a chance to see it in-game. I sincerely hope we'll have fewer wipes in the future. But I think for posterity's sake we should start posting our base designs. I started a thread for this here.

"Fixed collision box on structure walls"
"you can no longer place foundations in midair -they must be placed on terrain"
"new hatchet model"
"no death from drawing blood"
"fixed the bug where you lose all your stacks when you die"
and a shit ton of other stuff

No midair foundations, that's great. But does this also mean that foundations aren't stackable anymore? I.e., can you still place one foundation on top of each other?

ikr xD i had some fps drops too and i had to be inside all the time ;___;

This is my tower of man-power. I could go up the top in the morning, pinpoint the resource drops, and (almost) skydive to the first one.



And the view from the top. Unfortunately I just did a single strip rather that more shots to show a bit further down - it was when the day cycle was fast so I was trying to beat the sun anyway! FYI, I think this is located in Hackers Valley.

The first time I played I really wanted to hike to the top of one of the large mountains. So I did, but I was disappointed when I found out you can't go too far because of the radiation. Thus, my dreams ruined.

Fall damage used to be in but it's currently disabled because of a bug that was as ridiculous as DayZ breaking your legs when you step off a pavement
