You should put that in img_thumb tags, or re-size it a bit and have it redirect to the huge one. That's so huge haha. It's nice though.

Haha, I was just kidding. I'm changing up the whole OP right now, and it'll be fixed once I'm done.

Very cool! Where does the source come from exactly? It looks similar to something you'd see in fallout.

Just kidding, I am glad these kinds of exploits are on their way out. I love a level playing field.

Never was able to get close enough to that base because of hackers and a certain group, but it looks pretty damn good.

Thanks. It might not have been that pleasing aesthetically but the outer pillar/door maze sure was effective at keeping intruders out.

With fewer server wipes people might be able to build megastructures like these again. I, for one, would love to see that happen.

Speaking of server wipes, how often will they happen after the game is released? Is that something we should expect a bit of or not at all?

I just got to thinking, this game looks amazing but what are the pc requirements for it? I am betting a lot of people would like to know plus I would like to have another game I can play at work. :D

It doesn't. I had a serious amount of trouble making it blend, so I just slapped it on and fit at least the color. Thanks though!

No idea. All wipes up to this point have been due to technical limitations which should be solved soon. The question that remains then is whether wipes should be part of the gameplay. What I could imagine are random catastrophic events that would destroy some parts of the map. This would lead to a natural turnover that might be beneficial for new players.

I know it's far away, but for the current players I assume we still pay full price for the game if and when it is able to be purchased? There are simply too many players to give the game free to them, but a discounted price would be nice.

This game is going to change a lot if it follows consistent development.
first of all im not posting this just to argue but this necessarily may not be true i believe that if they opened up the alpha even only for a few day to get more people this will result in a few hundred if not thousand of people joining the game would be the ultimate stress test and new glitches could be found at a faster rate which can be fixed and other bugs that can majorly affect this game in a negative way doing this will help to further improve and build this game till its actual release date

When they need to stress test, they will.

Pat's eyes were tired, his brain was tired. There was no escaping it, he was tired. He slowly raised his finger and for the thousandth time that day pessimistically pressed the refresh button. But this time the result was different. This time the random string of characters he'd been clumsily throwing at the compiler had actually achieved something. This time it had worked.

Yeah. I love how they put a small story tale into the description...

I built it- along with other members of the Jesters Community. Its massive inside too!

The ground floor is a wide open space- surrounded by entrance doors for all jesters to enter and leave. The ground floor also has a two story high ceiling- kind of like a viking dining hall, supported by wooden beams. Above that there are roughly 15+ square living quarters- each with their own door, storage chest and bed. and above that is another 15 living quarters with a similar setup and above that is a lookout tower. We only faced problems with hackers- anyone else is kill on sight and rarely got within 50 meters of the walls. If anyone did- they had to hack down two doors before they even accessed the main hall- after that, some jesters installed 3 doors on their room entrances. Its a crying shame that the map got wiped just after we put the outer wall around it :D

the picture doesn't do it any justice, its actually huge :) and i'm looking forward to building something bigger :)

took around 20+ guys to build, most members went out in the early morning in small groups- armed with either shotguns and pistols to gather woodpiles and food. A dedicated team of defenders made ammo, guns and armor while patrolling the walls and shooting at anyone who approached. We are developing a pretty good setup, the only issue is differentiating between friend and foe in groups larger than 5. Teamspeak is vital for co-coordinating a group this size and really helps differentiate friend from foe- but friendly fire is still a regular occurrence :)

I feel sorry for anyone who plays this game alone. I don't see how it can be done. We regularly raided the smaller houses around us so neighbors weren't really an issue, and other groups on the server are tiny in comparison and aren't really a threat.

    LOL You are right!

ours is almost identical- but it is 5x5 rather than your 4x4 and has a four story height with a tall tower evolving from the center!

Wow i actually thought it was our building- almost identical, well done looks awesome
