Not really sure either, Server being wiped etc, I guess it's taking longer than was intended.

I know the update is happening, but people were logging on and connecting, and mine was downloading the update, and boom. Down.

No need to complain, this game is already more polished than some fully released games. Info is freely available, regular patching with great improvements. I wish all game companies were half this professional.

Polish and subject to change are very different things. Having played several "indie" games that were released I can say that Rust is looking incredibly polished for an Alpha release. Also I love the volume of info sent to the community, they seem very responsive which is key. Just my observations in the last couple weeks. So far looking great imo.

Okay, I changed alot...
• Fixed sleeping bag deploy rotation
• Fixed some icons being mipped at low quality settings
• Fixed campfire collision being too large

• Added small stash blueprint
• Added Wood Planks - All structure require these now
• Added Metal Door - Does not take melee damage
• Added Wood Shelter - Easy to make, serves the same purpose as a 1x1 house

• You can no longer stack Barricades
• You can no longer jump over Barricades
• You can no longer stack many doors together
• You can no longer get infinite wood from trees.. If it runs out, move to the next one
• You can no longer deploy items while jumping
• You can no longer use the sleeping bag to glitch into peoples houses

• "/do unstick" should now work when locked in a 'jail'
• Walls can now be placed even if a pillar is blocking them


You will notice it is quite a bit harder to create large structures now, this is intended behaviour as it was way too easy to create Goliath castles in very little time. Enjoy!
