Just wondering if anyone knows where the rust server is located? i pinged the website and i got 30ms from australia but i don't think that's right.

If I recall correctly it used to use the Facepunch host, and since Garry lives in the UK, I would guess somewhere around there

The servers facepunch uses are pretty damn good.

It's hosted at Amazon (probably cloud?).
Snippet from the game's code that shows it:
