Got another exploit to report, possibly a game-breaking one. Sorry for posting this here again, Helk. I really need to get my hands on a github account.
Anyway, I discovered this exploit while setting up a spawn point for a raid. What I found out is that you can glitch your way through walls and pillars by placing your sleeping bag in a specific manner.
This is how you can reproduce this exploit:
1. Place your sleeping bag as far into the corner of a pillar as possible
2. Die and respawn
3. You will spawn inside the pillar/wall of the house. From there entering the base is as easy as taking a step forward or jumping forward.
Possible workaround until a fix comes along (have to test this out, yet):
Place a door in front of each outer pillar. Make sure to at least secure the ground floor and first floor.
I sincerely hope this glitch is easily fixable as it currently makes every structure penetrable.

I just got a key to try out the game annd...
there's no hotbar, no health bar, I dont know if I'm dying or anything,
the ground is all static and shit, all I can do with hit trees and open my inventory.
did I miss something or is the game genuinely broken?

There is probably a problem where it's not using your main video card (or something along those lines). There was a thread about this, not sure where it is.

Is there anyway I can fix this? I just got killed by some random jerkbag. Also zombies seem to be invisible.

So I was facing three guys, and they broke into my base after 20 tries.
Then i bunkered up in my room to gather everything up and log out before they could get through my 6 doors.
Guess what they decide to do? glitch through my wall, past my 6 doors, destroy my bag (after i killed them 3 times, they kept glitching through wall.) and there goes 8 crates worth of guns/metal/food/gear.
The guys were
Random, turbosax, and wasdf-one(wasdf was the one glitching through)
I'm guessing he was doing the bed glitch, but anything going to happen to people who constantly exploit the map?
-Also, I told helk about this before, but just to have it down here as well. I spawned on someone elses bed that was inside the house I put my bed beside. (on the outside).
-Bleed icon stays up after spawn.
-My game started stuttering so I closed chrome via task manager, and when I went to log back on, I was in a different location.
(This is the only one I can re-create under a controlled environment because it was more than just clicking respawn to spawn on my bed.)

hi so ive had a beta key for awhile and made my account but went on vacation for like 2 weeks and now i cant log in? anyone else having this error/bug. i dont have another key and every time i click on the log in nothing happens! help???

Ok so a new way oft rolling came on that they build a single foundation and then but 4 walls and a ceiling on the spawn locations so when you respawn there you can not get out or die

It's /do unstick I think. this won't help though if the unstick spawns (yes, they are predetermined) are walled in as well.

Bloody hackers, its ridiculous, I got loads of stuff started base building and someone with god mode ran at me with a axe and killed me, stuck 50 rounds in him and he didn't die. Literally I hit 50 times with 9mm pistol

He may have had a ton of health kits, were all the hits in quick succession? imo healthkits should be slightly nerfed (and they should add a new type that heals better, seeing as the current one is named "small")

Sometimes construction parts don't work.
First day I played Rust, this bug never happened. Now it seems to happen all the time. Reconnecting fixes it, however that usually causes a different, more annoying bug where everything "lags" every 5 seconds.

When it starts to lag type this:
Press 't' for chat then type '/do reclock' this will synchronize your client to the server and hopefully stop the lag.

There's a really simply way of fixing this, 'Player Building Proximity' a radius is automatically attached to building parts which stop other people from putting there building parts on your buildings. Stopping people grieving you and glitching into your base.
A argument your might pose is "But I play with my friend, how can we build a base together with this added?" well a buddy/prop protection is added just like there is one in Garry's Mod 13 which allows people to add people to their lists that allow them to construct on their buildings. Obviously with the massive amount of people on the server at one time a search function could be added or simply a radius search function that adds people to your list as long as they are with in 5-10 meters or so (this is to prevent people from using it to unfairly ESP people that they don't know is close to them) because obviously only the person you want building with you is your friend so only close proximity people will appear on the list to approve.
That's my input, problem solved, I demand medals! :P

Anti-cheat needs to be a major priority now, its getting ridiculous, there are aimbotters, speedhackers, Wallhackers and I can't do any bug testing because its so utterly impossible to get around when someone speed hacks near you and sticks a MP5 mag in your head without missing a shot or hits you everytime in the pitch black (before it gets slightly lighter) without a flashlight.

I'm having issues with placing wooden windows as are a few more people i know. I select the window and the game freezes until i select another item on my hotbar.
Also on some metal doors (haven't noticed it on wooden ones yet) that some get bugged and open in a 180 degrees and stick to that new axis which means its not closing on the doorframe its attached to but remains ajar if that makes sense.
Also a question:
Pat was asked if the name distance thing will be changed so we can see who it is from more of a distance to which he replied 'we want the game played so that you have to identify people by getting close' and i can understand why he wouldn't want to change that.
However he did say that customisable characters will be added at some point. Does anyone have any more info on this?
I was just wandering is it just making your clothes red to tell yourself apart or something more complex.

Another to add to the bug list.
Logged in today and i got trolled. I don't mind getting trolled that's what the games about.
My base was blocked in. I put ramps down so people can't put foundations down and built stairs up to my shelter.
Someone has decided to block me in all together with a wooden shelter. I would be fine with being blocked in if more effort was put into it. What im not best pleased about as you will see in the pic is that you can place them where ever you like, conflicting with what ever.
Are these destructible?
