Restrap your balls on and toighen up... such inspirative words. Kinda looks like you are motivation trainer or something like that. But I don't care about that. C'mon then pal, show me one game without administrators, without rules, without nothing. No, I didn't learn from any other game, because in any other game, those who cheat get punished. And in most cases, they don't even have the opportunity to do something like that.
I totally agree with people saying thigns like we are testing, not playing and they have much important things to work on. Okay. But I thought we are testing a game, not the coding skills of people. I thought I will be reporting glitches and bugs, which are, as we all relate, common in early steps. Instead, I am reporting people. And no, not even I can find this good or wise. But, what else can I do ? Numbers of people are complaining and numbers of people are leaving in disgust. Every game needs rules, it needs some order. Otherwise, it's not a game, it's just a mess like Dayz. I know, they need to finish up the whole thing, then they will probably start to fight off hackers. But then again, how are we even supposed to test, when we can't properly play ?
1) Their not coding anything, their using cheat engine.
2) Sure this can be easily patched, but the other side of this is everything is recorded. They'll get their time with the ban hammer when he deems it a priority. So for any of these new hackers coming out with cheat engine, beware.
I've yet to even have any problem testing the game, aside from little performance issue that I fixed myself.
Also, the games you speak of that have rules are fully polished ( if not still a bit buggy or still have its faults. ) those are games that are already released. Hell, Planetside 2 didn't bother to add anything in till recently, yet they still have hackers on a massive scale. Same with every other FPS, so you have to roll with the punches.
Report the players if you have too, but don't sit and rant about it. Move on, keep testing and when you die due to hacking keep on trucking. This game isn't going to get better without testers, sure I agree that the hackers need to be dealt with. In time it will be, don't fret. Keep playing and deal with it as best as you can.
