Same issue here. I can even hear the in-game music but it's stuck on the 100% mesh thing. On one occasion it broke Unity player.

I have tried with my account (made before keys were needed) and my friends account. (Key: 0000000)

I'm having the same issue also. it either gets stuck at 88% on the mesh or at 100% and nothing just stop's

That's weird, but I've noticed these "loading issue" threads popping up after the massive amount of new players. Could be a common problem that all new players are just now experiencing, and has been solved beforehand.

Also: I've noticed that the online users is dropping drastically, it was 200 less than 1 hour ago. It is now at 80. (Never exceeding 100, but fluctuating.)

OK guys...I seemed to have fixed it. I don't know why this works but it did for me. I was desperate, and I tried running rust on internet explorer. It worked. I don't know why, the game seemed to black screen for just a second and then it just worked. Hope this helps.

Yeap. I got it loaded in IE, my hatchet decided to poof from my inventory. I had someone kill me, hit respawn, and black screen. I tried to refresh page, back at my original problem. FML.

I've been getting stuck on mesh for a while. I have a really bad computer, so when the game finally worked, I was an idiot and accidentally clicked on a bookmark whilst lagging and trying to look around. back to being stuck on 100% mesh..
