I was thinking of trying to maybe model some stuff or I don't know for the game, to help it out.
It'd be great if the community could contribute to the game in some way, maybe not code unless it's completely standalone code in unity, but things like models and stuff.

I'll be the ideas guy.
No but on a serious note, this is a really good idea - it would be great to have users shaping the game from such an early development stage. It would save money, time and effort for the developers so they can concentrate on fixing bugs and it would also shape the community into a more solid one.
I'm all for it, but I don't know if I would be able to contribute much.
