I don't really get you guys and your obsessions with people hacking. at this time with the current state of the game there's literally no point in even crying over somebody hacking because any work you've even put into whatever it is they ruined will be gone anyway because everything is subject to change either slightly or dramatically which include entire wipes of stored data including that retarded 1x1 shack you spent 4 hours collecting wood for.

everybody seems pretty quick to forget that you are not playing this for fun, you are playing this to test. hackers are at the moment helping test the game in their own way by finding ways to break the system which leads to the first step for fixing the system.

i understand the devs position on it but im thinking maybe the devs could use data of said hackers to help in the creation of codeable workarounds to said exploits.

I hope that picture works, but this guy sped hacked into our home, and hatcheted us to death, he wasnt god mode because we killed him numerous times. His name - Agathe. I will be making a beginners guide to Rust later:) Hopefully you devs can make use of it :D Ill have it done my tomorrow.

the are playing in a group. Both were speedhacking, but i just got melkpie on video.

EDIT: this also shows somehow a bug that weapons are in my inventory after i died.

I'm not trying to start anything but Rust definitely has its differences. Since Facepunch just made Rust there are going to be hackers. The devs of WarZ handled hackers the worst way possible by lynching (banning) almost anyone who was accused of hacking. I suspect the main problem is that the game wasn't even close to ready for prime time, when the leak occurred and the kinds came welling in in droves. Now, there's ten cheaters for every legit player, and I'm afraid the most effective way to go back to testing the game (which so called "hackers", using known exploits, don't do, no matter what they tell themselves at night) is to shut down the alpha and launch it again in secret, with much fewer players.

I have proof of melkpie too. I posted it on the forums and didn't see this thread so I got temp. banned for "Look before you post. There are threads for this."

So whoever banned me, good job. That hacker got to run around for 24 more hours without more proof against him. Just saying mods, you should've just deleted the post instead of temp banning me. (Wouldn't be surprised if I got banned for this somehow) Yes, I know you guys aren't going to really ban people before this update but still. When the update is done and you guys start banning people, please treat situations like mine better.

But anyway, I saw melkpie on the next morning so he definitely wasn't banned for my post. I have video proof here: (Right around three seconds in you can clearly see him teleport) Also Sorcs is probably the one in the background holding the flare.

Recorded some footage yesterday of two guys named aftokinito and MrFox trying to break into our base and killing us from quite a distance with a hatchet. Luckily, i have recorded them doing it and i hope someone will take care of it soon because these kind of people make the game unplayable/not able to do anything than sit in a corner and hope they will get bored of it and go away.So yea, heres the footage.

Yes, he has an insane range on his hatchet. He camps you from a hill and you cant do anything. I asked him once why does he do it, he said that its lag but yea, that is impossible.

Yep, I can confirm this as well. He's been doing this since I started playing a week or two ago, lost a decent amount of stuff to him while walking around pre-update. He hasn't done anything to me since, but you never know when he might resume.

And yes, I know some people on the forums will claim he isn't a hacker and that he's a good guy. Considering how much he's killed me from absolutely nowhere with a hatchet and no one in sight, I respectfully disagree.
