MoreI quit. Finally I'm free from the rage that this damn game produces. Damn hackers have managed to waste my $20, as most of my time in rust have been riddled with hackers that suck the enjoyment out of every second in the game.
I'm done with it. Not blaming the developers, but the masses of spoiled brats and just plain morons that uses hacks. There is a special place in hell for these people.

Yet another Toxic moron killing through walls on Central 3. This one wanted to ransom my stuff for explosives after killing me, so he could research them. He tried to convince me that on top of my own stuff back he'd give me 1,000 gunpowder as well. Like I'm going to trust a cheating troll who'd just killed me through a wall... much less give said idiotic troll charge research? I didn't catch that part on video, but this is the discussion when I respawned back there. Sorry for the crappy video. I hate this shit... This is the only thing that sucks about this game.

Hey, I just felt I would mention that I have been dealing with a hacker on AU/NZ Active Admins, No Mods, Noob Friendly by the name of "I wanna be on you :)" previously BrinGA.
I was in a metal base, fully enclosed, as was my friend, seperated by numerous floors, no where naer each other and at the exact same second, we both died from an M4 headshot to the head, every time we appraoched the base, or spawned in the base we died immediatly, at the same time, from an M4 shot to the head from the same guy. The person in question also managed to walk through the walls of the metal base into an enclosed room.

Got a hacker today. Both of which completely ruined our gameplay. All of which happened on US Eastern 1, an official server (why don't you guys have admins running around for this stuff?). He was using some sort of name spoofer of sorts so it took a while to get his actual name, but heres the profile. Had a couple of encounters with this guy so far. He keeps changing his steam name to try to avoid detection I'm assuming. First encounter we had with him, he was just randomly trolling and targeting people at our base. Second encounter is actually happening atm. Anyone spawning or getting anywhere near the vicinity is getting instantly killed with headshots. This is pretty impossible considering that we are spawning inside buildings. I couldn't actually get a good look at him due to the spawn kills, but the proof is there.

This guy goes by the name: Willy Beamish
He's terrorizing US Central 3 (Stress Test) using various ESP, aimbot, and speed hacks. He's 'attaching' himself on to people (or just following so close that you can never see him) and using instant kill hacks.

They've been doing it for several months now. I doubt jack shit will be done in the long term about them. There are probably 5-10 people that they play with that cheat and troll as well, plus another 10-20 who don't care that they cheat. That's why I left Central 1.

Sparklez was spawn killing a entire city with his hacks, like you just spawn and is instantly killed. Alpha or not I don't think hackers should be able to do this for months without punishment, how hard can it be to manually look at them and see that they are hacking

A suspected hacker in our modded server. We have no proof since there's no evidence in taking a screenshot of an aimbot and god mode since you can't know if it's there and we have no video recorded.

We have a major spammer on US Central 2. He has been doing this for weeks, but tonight it finally got too much to handle.
His name is Gu, and he posted the same thing over and over for 10 minutes straight, since I logged in. I don't know how long he was doing it before, or how long he will continue.
My profile has screenshots you may peruse at your leisure, and if any admins read this, I'd appreciate some ban-hammer.
The screenshots in my below-linked profile show several instances of chat being drowned out by him, where one pic will show a line at the bottom, and another the line will be at the top of chat. This happened several times, I just took a few to get the point across.

ICnight and Hey It's Steve using exploit involving barricades on North America 2 PVE. Dropping barricade onto players until it causes a disconnect from server then looting the sleeper before the player can reconnect.

sounds more like they were using uber hatchets, which can only be spawned by admins.

ive reported them both need to add their steam id's. their little group is growing as well so be aware of anyone with a bag in hand on the server. also if your having a rough time getting started, jsut look for me, Sgt. Lumpy, this afternoon and Ill help you out man.

i want ask, i got raided yesterday by naked ppl with sleeping bags..its new hack or bug? they put sleeping bags in my door/ wall..then suicide and res. in my house etc etc...y its long but result..also i tryed repeat that in my house but cant..plz fix this.

Had ran into a hacker called Harley Adam on a custom server I play on alot and I am really good at spotting hackers but, I was with a bud of mine at big rad and all of a sudden I get pegged in the chest from over 200m away by a bolt action so I quickly ran to a tree nearest to me. After my friend got instakilled by a headshot, I quickly ran to put down a barricade, I succeeded and manage to grab my buds loot, but after that , the hacker shot a shotgun from 120 m away and it had nospread. nearly instakilled me but I manage to not get hit by hiding by the barricade, the hacker runs up to a rock thats 80 m away from me and basically peaks out nonstop hitting me everytime and it appeared that he had no recoil cause he was quick firing and hitting every shot, he was also esping , speed hacking and jump hacking after I called him out for the bs nospread and norecoil. I watched him jump 9 stories after instakilling my friends on their own roof...
Sadly hackers like this hack and fail to hide it.....

I've seen them as well. I had it happen to me once with barricades, it sucks. The past few days their numbers must be increasing, because I see barricades all the time along the road now when I'm out and about.

Exploiters are rampant on this server too, in particular Nick-the-Rat and Ultrasonic are "boxing" with wood shelters, essentially getting people kicked off the server and into sleeper status so they can kill and rob them. This is rapidly turning what is supposed to be a PVE server (where folks can learn the game in peace) into a PVP one.

Wow me and my mate worked weeks on our metal building. We had lots of rooms, doors and stairways. We also had several rooms full boxes with LOTS of items.
Today they used C4 to break into our house and steal everything. BUT they followed the best path to our two storage rooms immediately . This path is not visible from the outside.
We also got killed a lot by wallhackers and fly hackers.
I'm quitting this game for now... shame on you Facepunch. Please do not release a game as alpha anymore. It sucks.
If I could trade in the game for my 20 euros I would have done it.

Long story short I was on youtube looking at rust and WoW related streams and this came up when I filtered for recent uploads. It appears to be a Hackers PoV on a rust server. It took me a couple of views to realize he's watching another hacker while racking up kills with a silent pipe shotgun and finishes the video by killing his fellow exploiter.
My question is how common is this? He can literally see EVERYONE from any distance and even what they have on. Since it's recent I assume it can bypass VAC and cheatpunch. Does anyone know if cheatpunch is aware and working on a fix?
Rust is my new favorite game but I don't think I can justify playing if other players have such a massive advantage over those of us who don't exploit.

Maybe the last update had rocket boots added, but I was not the only one who felt this user was bending the rules.
I was on US East Large (#1 I think) and saw this user "Scerum" jumping around like superman while threatening someone in their "house". I was able to snap a couple screenshots.

two Guy was living in hacker-valley and afeter two days killing nobody they had metal house and kev stuf ...
i was suspecting them ...
So i was satying there a long time looking at them. and sometimes something strange hapening : they ejected some strange stuff from their inventory to the floor...
On other hand, we had a bug : airdrops disapear when they hit the floor , like "falling, landing , Pooof Nothing" !
So i began to suspect those people to "absorb" or "immediatly steal" every airdrop , then they just throw useless stuf they get ... After 2 night looking at this suspicious show, i decided to ban them without being sure...
But wow ... the airdrop have no more bugs now ...
I have to notice this NEW HACK that ive never seen before !
