Honestly at this point, If nothing happens with this hacking, I'm about to start writing my own scripts to manipulate the game data. I'll start fighting fire with fire.
I'm talking Mini-Maps. Aim-Bots. Area-Insta-Loot. Flying. Only makes if fair right??
And if C4 duping is possible in the net code then that too.
No I won't stoop that low. But damn am I tempted..

i agree...I am not going to do any hacking but a portion of the community will and the game will just be destroyed. Since the major outbreak in the last week i noticed a steady decline in players. Given servers issues may have a effect too.

So it has been reported earlier, but for some reason the mods on the forums find it necessary to ban the people posting about the hacker. So at the risk of getting my account banned from the forums I am going to post a video of a person named Blackrain hacking on the US-East server.
Hopefully I do not get banned as well for simply trying to better the game and rid it of hackers.

ThatOneGuyD and Turn Up on US East Coast are hacking. My friend is streaming, but he was only killed by Turn Up. Will post a highlight soon.
They've been noclipping, killing us, and taking all of our kevlar and weapons.

je suis pauvre on US West Sleepers appears to be noclipping and invincible (he walked into our closed house, into our closed room, and ate 3 shotgun blasts to the face and a full magazine of M4 ammo, without wearing a chest piece, and survived, then walked out with everything).
Wish we had recorded it, but a lot of people on the server were complaining about him hacking.

Three times yesterday someone noclipped into my house and emptied my crates, leaving the house and doors untouched. THREE TIMES in like a 8 hr. span. Once as I was walking back to the house I saw a guy in full Kev com out, but he was too far away for me to see his name. And with this new sleeper stuff, they killed me and took my stuff once too. so I woke up outside on the ground, pockets empty and once again my house was still intact. All yesterday.

Details:
He was invited to my TeamSpeak server by another public player. He proceeded to explain how he uses Cheat Engine and can fly, no-clip, superjump, and run fast. Said he bought it for $20 from another person on the server at the time. Both guys run with no names (he was able to accomplish that by using the Character Map in Windows.
I have a video/audio I am in the process of uploading where he explains what he can do and people that witnessed it while in the TS channel. I kindly asked him to leave the server and said I would report him as well. I don't stand for that nonsense on my TS.

If they're using Cheat Engine, this is plain sad and really upsetting. This shouldn't even be happening, it's happened to me twice in the past 2 hours, it's really annoying. The worst part is, everyone is starting to do it.

Thanks for reporting it but you should remove his IP, that is personal and releasing it on here may encourage people to Ddos him. No one wants that.

It's for the devs to document and follow up with. That was what he displayed in my TS. He very well could change it or be masking his IP. So who knows. I'm working on the video/audio to get it uploaded now.

Regardless, it has no place on a public forum. You have no way of knowing whether or not that is his actual IP and the only thing that will come out of it is him being targeted by DDoS attacks which benefits no one. The devs will already have access to logs of the IP addresses that he has connected to the server with when, and if, they look into it.

Everyone has encountered several hackers and nothing will be done even tho they said they would ban 3rd party applications hackers(cheat engine), garry isn't keeping his word which tells alot about how this alpha is being handled. Don't tell us you will ban players using hacks if you aren't going to do it...
Anyways, if I were you guys, I wouldn't bother reporting them since nothing will be done other then waiting for them to change the game code to prevent hacking.

Hi admins, devs, mods, and player of the rust.
About 5 minutes ago, we suffered my partner had an attack of a "cheater" is that while we were walking around the area, him entered our home, caught about 230 low quality metal and five C4 and to gone.
Then we come to the house to us a door broken with C4 stolen and when we went out to kill the disappeared in our face.
Not content, whereas we crafting a door and we expected the time to put it back, appears behind us, where there was no door and kill the two.
Then disappears again.
His name is IMNORMAL and we were in the U.S. West Coast. My name and my partner [LMC]Mortensen and [LMC]Elbanana.
I hope they do something about it and do not ask me to return the resources, but if you punish this player rotten.

Hackers are everywhere, let the devs do their job and get the game situated before handling the little F*cks who cant play fair. Just like the Ddossers Q_Q hackers then mess with the servers. hard to fix stuff and get the game rolling with all the crap people are whining about :P

FYI non of these guys use hacks against other players and we do
talk to helk regularly as he frequently goes around visiting teamspeaks.
We are alpha testers and lot of what we do is passed on to devs
to counter bugs, exploits and hacks. That is what we supposed to be doing.
I can agree we have a sick sens of humor, all in good fun.

Exposing security flaws is one thing. Shutting down servers on a day they were auctioning the game is malicious. I know you folks feel that because you sit behind a computer you are free from reprisal - I'm sure the buffer zone yields a false sense of security - but those thoughts are merely the result of someone's imagination who has never been in trouble. Don't say I didn't warn you...

Between 17:00 and 17:15 UK time FriendlyBill on UK server 2 Walked through my locked door luckily he took a pickaxe to the head but walking through peoples doors is still hacking whether you succeed or fail to loot.
Sry for no proof but it was a very quick attack/over.

Hi. Playing on UK II atm and me and my buddy find someone named "FriendlyBill" He has every hack in the book. I'm guessing he got them private or purchased them online. Today i saw a new hack that will ruin the game. Aimbotting he has some kind of aimbot he shot me and my friend five times hit all of them headshot in less than 10 sec and far away we killed him with 1 hp and 29 hp left. And he even came back and camped our base for fun we came out hit us twice with headshots but we sprayed him down. I see other people in chat having trouble by killing him so he could have godmode to. I'm going to try to list every hack he has :
Aimbot.
Speedhack.
Flyhack.
Godmode (Maybe).
Superjump(Jetpack).
No recoil.
Walk through doors.
Esp/radar that shows where everybody is.
He could be doing this to have fun since he is not enabling everything at once. Rewolf on this server got his house attacked by this guy he "Walked through his door" but rewolf killed him since he was unarmed. I got no proof im just hoping Garry or some of the devs can try to make some kind of anti hack that will prevent him from using Aimbot and Godmode thats my two big conserns.

Details:
A combined raid had roughly 8-10 guys blowing off the door of batman's house which is just North of the East end of the resource field in Hacker Valley. House has 4 metal doors facing South.
Anyway... we cleared them out of at LEAST:
- (20) stacks of metal fragments
- (15) M-4's
- (8) sets of Kevlar
- (150) Low Quality Metal
They proceeded to jump around the map looking for us. They located us and attempted to raid us (we kept the best of the stolen gear on us so they couldn't get it from the boxes). They dropped in from the sky (clipping through buildings) at least 10 different times being killed in process.
Needless to say... we were laughing. I have some of it recorded.
