So I just recently found out about Rust and I've been wanting to play it on my laptop, but each time I try to play it shows the unity symbol and a loading bar. Sadly, once it gets done its just a black screen. I don't have an idea why its doing this but I could really use some help.

There's a lot of threads regarding this. For the most part it's an issue with Laptops. No definite fix at the moment, but some people have had luck forcing their browser to use Nvidia Graphics over IntelHD graphics.

There is a fix for it. Go to your Google Chrome shortcut on your desktop (if you don't have one make one), right click it an look for "Run with Graphics Processor" and choose the one that is not Integrated Graphics. Once it opens, the game will work.
