Seeing as people still ignore the wiki and post stupid questions in the sub-forum, we'd need a big disclaimer at the top of the rust webpage saying "Read the fucking wiki or don't post at all"

I made a few edits to the wiki. I know its not perfect but I did the best i could. So can anybody tell me if it was usefull or if I should just GTFO?
Also If any moderators is reading this can you please not ban me for 12 houers for "Undescriptive Thread Title". Beeing new here I am not sure of all the rules and althoug i try not to i will probbably break a few of them, but cant you be a bit nicer and just tell me to change the title instead of banning me?
Any and all help is appreciated, even if it's not perfect, you're setting the building blocks for someone to expand on later. Thanks!
Added a bunch of info, CBA to list it all.
Created The Wooden Wall and Kevlar Helmet pages
My page: Http://play-rust.wikia.com/wiki/User:Worldspawn
Thanks to those making the wiki! :)
I'm on the process of... translate it to spanish, so... Si habla espaņol, venga a ayudar, no sea malito.

Muy Bueno.

Deleted all of FlubberNugget's guide, I restored it, but I would prefer something done to this guy (even though FlubberNugget's guide is purely satire)
Edited the grenade page to sound less whiny. Can't edit the picture caption, will do when I get a wikia account.
Merged the hatchet item and hatchet weapon.
Added Recycle Box.
Currently trying to gather pictures for items that already have pages, will be able to pretty much do them all when the game is back online.
Can someone delete one of the hatchet pages? I made one unreachable without search.
Same with the Research Kits page, there is already a Research Kit 1 page which I have made the main article, the other one is lacking material and isn't based on the item, it's just the general type of item, which there is only one of.
Added some links in the deer page.
Re-did blueprints page, requesting remove of the "blueprint" duplicate page, has less information, etc.
Edited:
Try adding the {{speedydelete}} into the pages you want deleted.
Added Crate page.
Edited:
I'd suggest making the default dimensions for items that are in the inventory to be 80px.
Code:|imagewidth = 80
comment on my Simpleton guide
im crying :((
Edited:
someone changed 'preteen' to 'nigger'
oh god lol
I have been working on adding some extra info, but some fucktards are just messing with the wiki
"simpleton" is a good replacement for that.
Flubber, Do you want me to lock your guide?
Please, people keep editing it even though it's obviously satirical
Edited:
I mean, someone edited it to make it more fit for the average gamer, and while he actually made it a worthwhile article...those writing skills should be put to actual use on their own article somewhere!
Merging the hatchet articles and deleting one. Locking flubber'd guide and combining the chicken articles, anything else you need done by an admin?
I did some request deletes on some articles because they are poorly made unnecessary duplicates of others.
could you list some off please?
Just a tip, if you visit http://play-rust.wikia.com/wiki/Cate...s_for_deletion you'll see the pages people have marked.
Edited:
Take a look at
http://play-rust.wikia.com/wiki/Cate...te_maintenance
for more useful links as well.
Merged the research kit article and fixed the chicken article. For some reason the whole thing was written in a code box. Created a page for the rocks. Should I leave the ore pages split or merge them as one page titled "ores" or should I merge the sulfur and sulfur ore pages and metal and metal ore pages?
I'll flag a lot of posts as stubs that I plan on working on.
Re-did Small Medkit page and added a picture.
Edited:
Added wood foundation pic and redid template.
Edited:
Going to change all items imagewidth to 63, as that is their natural state, if it looks good I'll keep it that way.
Edited:
Added both the Holographic and Flashlight articles.
Edited:
It would be awesome if this thread or the wiki link itself could be stickied.
Merged Metal Ore and Metal Fragments into one Metal page.
Sulfur will undergo the same later.
Fixed the "Survival of the fittest Beginners guide"'s formatting and edited the radiation page a bit.
Merging all the ammo pages together as one.
Retructured homepage and added a bugs page.
Redid the pillar page.
I edited the front page to look less cluttered. Guys, DO NOT use the visual editor.
So... lots of changes to Rust. Might need some help updating the wiki. So far:
- added a changelog to the front page
- updated the changelog
- added a status effect category (for things like hunger, cold, radiation, etc.)
- added a pickaxe category in the Melee Weapons section (haven't played the game in a few days, don't know everything about it yet)
Why add changelog? You know, everyone can see it on front page of the game itself.
Changelog was there before I started editing. Might as well update it. Also, it's neat to have a catalog of updates when sometimes the front page acts like a changelog/news blog.
Also, I usually just go straight to playrust.com/play so I don't see the front. Kinda weird but I like the wiki better since I can see and compare updates (on one page).
Yeah, I made the changelog page because eventually the updates will get to a point where people won't be able to see all of them and it will be fun to have it cataloged, etc. Also, if you didn't notice I was listing the updates by their dates since they don't have anything else to go by besides Update 1, 2, etc.
I noticed, which is why I carried the format over for the new updates. It's sort of weird though because they sometimes patch multiple times on the same date so if they are on the same date, I would list it as update (date) 1,2, etc.
please make a hot key / control list too
It's been done. You can find it in the beginners guide here.
http://play-rust.wikia.com/wiki/Begi...Guide#Controls
Well apparently someone is so butthurt about legitimate contributors undoing his troll-tastic changes that he's starting to vandalize it. Basically he removed the entire front page and replaced it with what was in the green box.
I think we should lock it from edits.

Alright, I might need some help editing pages. There are so many to go through already that I don't have much time to do it.
Ideally I want it to look something like this.
Which can be done using using this.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
