I do believe so, it was either the * on the numpad, or the ~ on the top right, i remember someone saying you can just push that and it goes through the three or so default graphics, or top right there is a menu, and you can just change the graphics manually.

Find a high point near a landmark, like the compound. You'll be able to find your way there without fail

The road gets very close to the ocean at the SW settlement, then curves around the western settlement.
Although I claim ignorance for the eastern side of the map, never been to that side.
EDIT: No, this road seems to be inaccurately marked or lies.

Well the alpha is mostly for server testing right now I believe, so it's not really fair to criticize. I don't think there was ever really any intention for it to get as popular as it did

Yeah, I understand. Game itself is good, but they should do something with people who killing everyone. Thats not DayZ, that game it's even harder at start (you have crafting, and all that stuff, that DayZ don't have), and after 2h of playing, you loose everything because of one stu***d person, who had 4 bullets and decided kill someone for fun.

So I went to live at the peaceful place after the server wipe and all I have to say is, wow it's really boring there. Next to no resources, about 5 other people living there and nothing to do. I just walked into the radiation wall and killed myself.
Way more exciting running around with all your loot knowing there can be an axe wielding maniac just around the corner.

Could you mark where the peaceful place is?FTFY, inverted map so that playable area is easily findable & top facing north, added approximation of rad-free (At least from the large radiation wall) zones.

Spent a few hours making a two story base way far from spawn, everything is going well. Glitch proofed all my walls with doors, gathered enough cloth to make a sleeping bag. Nobody has bothered me so far.
And then this speedhacker Wtfboy comes along, busts down my door with a billion axe hits per second, kills me and then destroys my sleeping bag spawn point. :c
All that work gone to waste. But afterwards I made some good friendly guys, Zsoldier, guardian, and a few others are cool.

Its a nice idea, but if there actually is a neutral zone, it should not be made public. Otherwise it will attacked, ransacked, other things that end in -ked and rendered useless.
