Several, at random. I hadn't touched some of the games in months and I got booster packs for them. I'd gotten the level 1 badge for each game.
I've gotten them without game badges.

I was reading up on trading cards, has anyone ever gotten a booster pack?
I get at least two monthly, I haven't really counted.

  3. Post #3963
I think I get one per month or two, even though I'm eligible to get cards for about 20 games. I know it depends on the Steam Community level, but the rate is still disappointing.

Yeah I just read that you apparently need to be invited to the Steam Music closed beta to be able to access the music features in the new beta client, really annoying

Not only is that a better system, I'm just glad Valve didn't go full Microsoft and put the joystick where the dpad would be. Xbox controllers aren't nearly as ergonomic as the SIXAXIS/DUALSHOCK

Why do people want a music client build into Steam anyway?

While it's much better than it was before in terms of performance, it feels as if the client is getting a little bit bloated now.

My guess would be SteamOS. They would have a better chance of getting into the market if they've got it fully featured, rather than having to go find a third party program to do something as "simple" as playing music.

I guess it is the good old more the merrier thing, also I would rather first get fix for "frozen" Steam browser in the steam client itself, it is annoying when it sometimes gets stuck in Activity and never leaves it and forces you to restart Steam if you want to do anything else than look at your games library.

Yes. But it's always possible they will just update the iOS app again and leave the Android one to die.

I would honestly be surprised if they didn't update the android app this time around, they would cut out lots of people from using the 2 factor authentication, plus they let nvidia port hl2 @ portal to android.

Hopefully steam adds lastfm like features for keeping track of what you've listened to and shares it to your profile or smth.

And hopefully there will be an api because I use g music all access and don't use spotify D:

It would be more likely that Valve would create their own video chat than it would be that Microsoft lets them integrate it.

Edited: Valve really just needs to start focusing more on creating APIs for apps. Right now they're trying to package all of the Steam OS front end into one executable which is fucking dumb.
