Is it supposed to be like a poster or something?
The posing looks very stiff and if you added some more noticable DOF, it'd greatly help it.
No, I always do that. I have a screen without that.
wasn't stalingrad like all freezy and snowy around those days?
Maybe the snow was defeated.
No. While the first days of the battle, they were 30°C(86°F) and hot winds. It starts to snow 5 months after the beginning of the battle.
Check out this video :
You can see that there's sun and the soldiers are wearing summer uniforms.
and the summer uniforms probably were what got them all fucked up later hmmmm
always nice to see color footage from WW2, makes the war seem less... 'ancient'
Oh no, it's you again.
Maybe you have some fancy ass knowledge, but your poses need a lot of work, until people could look at them without bleeding eyes...
I agree this isn't very good, but that isn't very constructive. Danik didn't go from horrible to cool because we said that his stuff made our eyes bleed, we gave him advice, like so:
Hauptmann, you need to zoom the camera in a whole lot more. look at the image at the moment. right now, only about 20% of the screenshot is taken up by ragdolls, but the ideal amount of space taken up by the ragdolls should be about 50% to 75% of the screen. right? once you get that down, you can work on your posing.
Soldiers look stiff, the officer is about to fall on his butt(his legs are bent). And the solider manning the Machine Gun is opening himself up to sniper fire. They need to look like they're in a warzone and not having tea time with Hitler.
The Russian soldier's balls are exploding. The MG34 isn't even aiming at him, you can clearly see the tracer going into the window. I guess he got so scared that his balls exploded?
realism in my gmod
I don't really get the whole text stuff.
Like that ?

that's better, but it's still not quite zoomed in enough and the camera angle is pretty bad. look at this picture by CarL Linney, for example:
the ragdolls are directly in front of the camera, and the bits that we don't need to see (like the lower legs) are cut out of the frame. CarL has zoomed in so that they're close enough for us to see the detail and lighting on them. try and zoom in further next time.
Better ?
