Took a photo of a 5 dollar bill, and edited it with Notepad++ by replacing every instance of at with random gibberish.

turns out the notepad++ trick will be altered depending on what host you use, sometimes.
so, uh, anyone recommend an imagehost that doesnt modify files?

what did you do on this one?
i feel incredibly stupid, but every time i've done this so far, when i bring the image back to photoshop, it comes back in black and white.
what could i be doing wrong?
It could be that it's in grey-scale.
make sure you have 3 non-interlaced layers when you export from Photoshop. And when you importo it to PS again, make sure it has 3 layers for RGB, but there's room for a lot of playing around
what the fuck

I tried to get this to work with GIMP but gave up quickly and just downloaded the photoshop trial
After a bit of fiddling I did this to a plane using audacity:
And this to my phone's keyboard with Notepad:
I like this very much
Post #220
That's actually quite creepy.
what's even more creepy is how you guys got so many pictures of me...
-snip-
Made myself some album art using notepad++![]()
So what exacly did you do in notepad++?
That's exactly how I visualized that song in my head; white noise.
as I posted above, try switching from Interlaced layers to Non-Interlaced layers or vice-versa and you'll get something better
Well, everything I did seemed to just fuck the image up big time so I just kept trying to fit one 'a' somewhere and in a while I found a sweet spot for it where it did that effect.
I also tried equalizing the picture in audacity but all it did was this:
Edited:
Thats cool, how did you get that effect?
Heres some cool stuff:
Reversing the sound - makes the image upside down and inverts the colours
Echo - Repeats the image
High pass filter - Saturates the image
Low pass fitler - De saturates the image
So tried using notepad++ on my avatar, seemed to give better effects than using audacity for me:
original
now to confuse my friends by saying it looks fine for me HEH
I managed to pin point the face on the audio track, I kinda like how this came out.
