Ah, I had a feeling that was the case. Well I'll be getting a custom pair and I can change the colour of the toe cap to anything, so that's what I'll do. Not fond of the white myself.

I don't know, some posters claim they're "kiddie" shoes, but then at the same time the same posters recommend vans as an alternative.

well era's have a thick leather band on the inside of the shoe, which personally I find less comfortable than authentics which are a lot thinner.
