I've just noticed that if you turn the time warp up to 10000 when you're in a Geosynchronous orbit your surface velocity goes up to about 60m/s for no reason.

What gives, I can't buy it on the site. It just keeps getting stuck at the processing transaction page on KSP and never goes anywhere.

I want to give them my money :(

OK, what the shit... I got banned from the forums until tomorrow for no reason. They claimed I insulted another member, but I don't remember insulting anyone. I disagreed with a person who proceeded to claim I was disagreeing with him because I didn't like him, and afterwards said "FUCK IT" and swore several times in the shoutbox.

    Hmm. Ok.

    EDIT:

Well I'm talking to the mod, I should hopefully get the warning withdrawn.

    RE-EDIT:

I've got it dropped down to "watched". I'm pretty pissed off, I didn't really do anything.

    RE-RE-EDIT:

Right, the warning has been dropped, with the consequence any further stuff like this warrants me something 3 times as severe. it's not ideal, considering I'm still getting punished for pretty much nothing, but it's better than the alternatives right now.

that is one of the most beautiful stations I have seen with the KOSMOS pack 0__O

In other news. RD-191 is 90% done. Just needs gas generator modeled and pulmed and then fuel turbo pump output line remodelled. Did 90% of this today :D

    Edited:

eh. i dislike that the engines turn off and you coast to your Ap then engines reignite. major waste of fuel.

    Edited:

OC why is the parachute stacked to high on the model? :D

Except the way that it works makes it more efficient to do a Munar insertion yourself.

How is that a waste of fuel? Orbital manuevres are the most efficient at periapsis/apoapsis.

It isn't a waste of fuel at all, it's optimal.
Launching against the rotation of Kerbin, THAT'S a waste of fuel.

when i used it it launched me. at 50km engines turned off. drag slowed it down to like 600m/s. then by the time it hit the AP it then turned engines back on and had to make up for all that lost fuel.

it might be better for higher orbits. but it is not that great at low ones. atleast not when I used it.

using it the rocket I hate had almost no fuel left in the launch phase.

flying it the way i fly it to get to the same orbit it would have 3 stock tanks left. thus obviously there is a problem.

I think that it's good that way. You're lazy and/or unskilled? Let the computer do it for the price of all that extra fuel. You're pro and/or need pull out the most out of every drop of fuel? Do it manually. It's like they unintentionally balanced it as a gameplay mechanic.
