Welcome to checking out my minecraft smp server, play here and you will have a good time if you enjoy making towns, helping with the large
projects that usually happen underground or the fortresses for the town center, almost everything here is centered around the towns, so roads,
subways and monorails are made to them.
So if you want to play minecraft with other people, have fun and not be afraid of your shit getting stolen, fucked up or burned down? Then you
should play here.
Most towns usually have lots that you can get to build there, just ask the owner for permission and what rules there are for that specific town.
Of course you don't have to join a town, you can always start a fortress somewhere with your friends, or make a house just like you would in SP,
then trade and such with the other players around you, whatever you do i will try to make your experience the best i can.
When you join you will appear at the spawn, which most likely has signs, roads and railways to other towns, if you can't find anything? Just ask!
We also currently sport an economy, based on the ability to convert iron, gold and diamond bars into money, or profinions as they are referred to on the server!
Marketplaces are usually set up in towns, where you can buy anything you imagine with the money you earned from slaving for me or one of the other friendly slave drivers.

Yay, V4. Anyhow, I was looking for somebody to design a small rest house and a larger inn that could be used a standard shelter for people who decide to use the road system I hope to build so to protect both them and the road from monsters.

Not unless stated specifically by me that it's been abandoned, plenty of people return after a long time.
So don't!
It also makes the overall look of the server much shabbier if it's been looted.

The word 'Best' makes it seem underrated.

In my opinion it'd still be reasonable to have some kind of plugin that automatically unlocks the chests of people who haven't been online on the server, for let's say, two months.
Why keep perfectly usable resources in chests that the owner will never return to? They're put to better use (with the added flavour of exploring an ancient place and finding treasure from said chests)
If it takes them more than two months to visit the server again, I highly doubt they would care about losing stuff, and even if they did care, it's their fault for being completely and utterly inactive players.

I also have my own experiences regarding them. I was wandering in the wilderness and found a house, completely battered and abandoned, roof gone from either lightning or creepers and snow inside, with several locked chests. I checked who made the house using logblock, and checked how long it had been since he played on the server. He hadn't been online for around 1,5 months.
I took a look inside the chests (overlords have permissions to open and modify locked chests) and there were several stacks of gold ingots and many diamonds inside, just forgotten, with the owner likely not giving a shit because of his inactivity. And I wasn't allowed to take them, which pissed me off.

Probably the lightning mod bugging out or something. Is it the same as that one time where block changes caused fires?

It's the same. It happened twice today, I personally think thunderstorms should be temp. disabled.

Still very busy, sorry if the trade post is running low. I'm not going to be on the server until probably Wednesday, at which point most of the items available in the shop will go on sail until they've sold out (after I stock everything once, of course). Annnd I've got paypal all good and figured out, so I'm going to hopefully have a neon rainbow sparkly gif name which constantly flashes between 5 other colors soon.
