Hey Ender, my buddy, about how much would it cost to have a small part for a Tanaka revolver (about the size of a dime) machined out of steel?
Going to depend on the complexity of the part, and type of steel.

Whatever it is, I want it made of a titanium alloy just like NASA space shuttles.

    Edited:

Also it must have Shimano gears, which are the best.

Not as easy of a part the more I look at it. If the outer diameter was consistent then it could probably be done with manual machining (lathe then mill). But since it doesn't you're looking at CNC milling, and that shit is going to cost you over $100 easily. Honestly you're better off searching for a replacement part.

Even if you wanted a replacement machined you're going to need to make an accurate 3D CAD model of it before any machine shop will make it. Otherwise you'll be paying another guy to draw it up for you.

If you do have a 3D model, you can upload it here and get a quote. It's gonna be pricey though.

Making that part out of titanium wouldn't cost much for the material.

Tooling on the other hand might cost more, not sure what tools you would use to machine it. It's something I would have to look up since I don't machine titanium. My guess would be carbide tooling would do it, but I could be wrong.

Well fuck. Looks like my Tanaka is going to be a display piece until I win the lottery.
Edit: unless I can use the real steel part (if available)

Part 33 on here might be able to fit after being cut down.

Colt Police Positive. The ratchet is attached to the back of the cylinder with the mock shells, and cannot be removed on its own. I'l have to either cut out the worn ratchet or jury-rig a replacement end for the cylinder with the new ratchet attached.

Yeah, I suppose so. It was worth a try.
If I could find a circular piece of metal with similar dimensions to the cylinder backplate I could drill a whole in the center and fit a modified RS ratchet, then weld the ratchet in. However, I don't have the time or the money for that now.

For the time and money required for something like that, you might as well just buy a brand-new pistol.

i think most of them thought his cleaning story was a lie. I'm not sure what the truth is myself.

I'm tired of how front-heavy my gun is, it's meh trigger response, and the clunky battery box on the front that constantly rattles because of the nunchuck battery inside it.

Should I get a rewire to rear + buffer tube lipo setup?
