I love Half-Life one. I feel if Gordon was in space... Then he should have had a helmet. You can argue that both alien/human breath oxygen. But if my ass was in space I would have a helmet on.

Well I've been around sense 2006, I have no clue what "AA" is. I'm not sure who half these people are either. But I've wanted to get back into the forum.

Antialaising. Go turn it on in the options menu where you change your graphics.

    Ruined by the textures :(
Posing also looks a mite stiff too, mostly around the arms and the lower mid-section.

    I like it.
By the way, Barney was in Xen and he definitely hadn't a gasmask or helmet, so the only reasonable conclusion is that there is an oxygen in Xen.

I fell off my chair in anguish at that remark, Gasmasks don't create oxygen, they filter out toxins in the air usually via charcoal, in some (very old) models, asbestos, or other artificial media.

If Freeman was in space or some other oxygenless area, he'd need an attached oxygen supply with his helmet to breathe. The HEV suit doesn't have a dedicated oxygen supply, hence why you can't stay underwater indefinitely.

Ergo, oxygen must have been present in the Xen atmosphere, giving Gordon no reason to wear a helmet.

On topic, that blur is very distracting and your choice of map is very poor. A scenebuild with a background edit would have worked much better for this shot.

Not necessarily, consider that in none of the Half-Life games do you get a helmet with the HEV suit. It could very well be able to have an oxygen storing capacity. That said though.. Xen must have oxygen in any case because Gordon survived without a helmet.

Or maybe it's just a game.

And yeah.. the map/blur choices are pretty poor.
