    Idk, i cross my legs like that all the time. I would refer to the fact that his eyes are excessively open as a criticism. Make them either look down or slightly close i would say.

    he looks like he's wincing. his bottom lids are closing but his top lids are open. it's weird. looks like he's mentally unstable

    why? it's not a typically working-class thing to do and it can be considered quite camp among a lot of people but i know a few guys who sit like that

    granted they're quite camp but so what? maybe that character in the background is a middle/upper-class kinda guy or maybe he's just camp

    I never repositioned his eyelids, so I think it might just be the angle of the shot, but I'll definitely remember to give more time to making my characters look less crazy in the eyes.
