Post #1Note: This is my first ever Gmod Machinima as well as my first post on the forum :) Hello all.
The other day I made my first Gmod machinima. I began by just testing what I could do and what was possible in Gmod with various STools and so-on, then after filming a few parts I decided to make it into a short film. But I went ahead and tried to link the two sections i had already films with some story in between which some may say turned out either good or bad. Please watch and give some feedback, Constructive Criticism is welcome. Thank you.

Your first you say?
That was actually really awesome. Not what I was expecting at all. You should definatley keep it up, cause this was one of the first "My First Movies" I've been able to not only sit all the way through, but thoroughly enjoy as well.
Also, I shat myself at 4:46 :P

I notice some broken footage from the rendering process though. I dont know what type you rendered it as (looks like .avi, but I cant be sure) but next time try .mp4. Gives me a good size and quality, and doesnt give me any messed up footage.

The story could have used a bit more development, and some shots werent needed or went on for to long, but I didnt see many of those.
Animation was great, all in all executed very well.

Only things I noticed is a few too many jump cuts in the basement scene and the camera clipping through the ground at one point
Other than those two, keep it up!

Thank you :) , The only other videos ive done is also what is on my channel but this being my first actual attempt at a Machinima.
Yes the broken footage I didnt notice after rendering it I think it happened when uploading to Youtube but I may be wrong, I rendered it as a WMV :| , No the best but ill be sure to render as a mp4 next time.
Yes the story was badly developed I agree as I said it wasnt structured and half the scenes were filmed at wrongs points which I then tried to link together with the best thing I could come up with :P If I make another ill be sure to plan one out next time. But Thank You for this feedback :D ill be sure to keep all this in mind When/If I make another.

Very good for your first video. It was a bit predictable at times, but I didn't see a few things coming. Overall, great video. Certainly better than most Machinimas out there, what with having a basic plot and all.

Thank you , next time ill be sure to plan something so i can make a more interesting story then just making it up as I go. :)
