    not so much dark just... flat. needs more contrast and more highlights

    composition is also pretty poor - too much ceiling space and the characters are cut off at the bottom

    To be fair, I don't think most twenty-year old unmaintained metro tunnels have much light.

    I guess you could put in a small red light on the right hand side, attached to the wall.

    They are maintained, at least the ones next to stations/near them, just in different ways that one might first think.

    You can see red lights down at the station itself (behind the fortification). The yellow light is supposed to be campfire, but the fire itself wouldn't show up for some reason.

    If you don't mind me asking, how did you achieve such smooth shadows? They blend so well.. when I use lamps and stuff the shadows for separate props don't blend well at all. Is it just the DoF?

    Could be the DoF, since I just slap the lamps around (along with couple of lights).
