Welcome to the IPM. Currently composed of the planets of Venus, Betelgeuse V, and an asteroid numbered VV5-127, the Interplanetary Megaprison is actually composed of three megalithic complexes connected by a complex web of entanglement teleporters, sustained portals, and space shipping lanes. Housing well over 7.2 billion intergalactic prisoners, it is the only penitentiary like it in the entire Milky Way galaxy. Due largely impart to its size, as well as the difficult conditions of the waste planets it is housed on, the IPM is not only very expensive to operate, but also very lucrative for its operators. Life in the prison is a constant struggle. This is no Shawshank; there are no libraries, education programs, leisure activities, and most importantly, no escapes. In its entire 332 years of operation, the IPM has only seen one escape, and that escapee (as well as the cargo ship he was stowed away one) was quickly vaporized by an orbital ion cannon shortly after leaving Venus's atmosphere. Inside the IPM, gangs rule. The Warden, an elusive figure, does little to stop the trafficking of weapons within his walls; in fact, as he sees it, gang violence cuts costs. As such, guard intervention is rare. The Interplanetary Megaprison Exospheric Defense Squad, IPMEDS for short, monitors all outburst within the walls, only deploying troops if large riots or escapes seem possible.

The year is 2256. In Cell Block 101, the largest cell block on the Betelgeuse V branch of the IPM, two gangs have been growing greatly in power: The Red Beret Brigade, composed largely of well trained mercs-turned-inmates, and the Green Dragons, a group claiming to seek to resurrect the People's Republic of China within the walls of the prison. While the former is much smaller, better equipped, and has superior combat mastery, the latter has greater numbers and operates vast drug-, human-, and weapons-trafficking within the prison. It is unknown if either of these gangs have influence on the other branches, or even on other cell blocks, but their power is surely growing at rate that worries the upper echelons of IPMEDS.

i dunno. might keep making screen shots in this storyline.

Doesn't look like a year 2256 Interplanetary Megaprison but more like a Soviet Union shitty building.

you're little story worked for me

but i just highly doubt that they would be able to get in rifle/large weapons if the planet was as tightly controlled as you say
if the rifles looked like really really really shitty rebel type guns constructed out of piping and scrap metal i'd be able to make an exception but the weapons simply look too refined for me to believe they were hacked together.
