Awesome. Indeed :D
Great, though the bush on the left could have continued all the way past the camera.
Stalker forever <3
That is pure win!
How long did it take fixing the scenery?
Hmm, can you still load the save file or is it really corrupted? If you're only experiencing in-game lua errors, kill yourself (ingame yo), make another save. As far as I know, corrupted save files are experienced between two sessions (understand "two different Gmod launchs) when there are two much props for Source to handle. Or it's just some kind of secret script to tell you "yo dude, 15 hours you're on that scenebuild, imma destroy all yo shit so you can get a life".
Anyways, that picture is very good despite of the shitty jpeg quality. First time a pic makes me really feel a proper Stalker atmosphere. Not a big fan of the wide angle, tough. One thing I'd like to know is where are those buildings from! Are they skybox models or something?
@Viper: Thank you, it took ~3 hours.
@pMnky: Thanks for your feedback!
I know about the bad jpg quality. I tried to load the savegame to take a.png screenshot but this kills my Gmod instantly.
E: Oh, the buildings are models from DIPRIP.
Don't bother using .png dude. There's a command called "dev_screenshot" that allows you to take your screenshots in .tga format (you just have to bind it using "bind YOURKEY dev_screenshot"). Which is trully better than the classical "Gmod" .jpeg or .png for the editing. No compression at all - that's what you need for the editing. Once you did that, and once you're done with the editing, just save it as a high quality .jpeg in Photoshop or whatever you're using. I also recommend the use of a .tga thumbnail plugin, so you can browse your screenshots folder the same way you do with other formats.
.tga to high quality .jpeg = clever
.png to .jpeg = not clever
.jpeg to .png = not clever at all
.png = not clever unless you really need it (transparency or whatever)
.jpeg = quality depends mainly of the source image and amount of compression
Herp... 3 hours... my longest pose was about... 2 hours, and that wasn't even a scenebuild (And on top of that it turned out a bit bad :P)
Ok thanks, I'll try that out!
And how did you make the surface, I mean the road, ground etc.

I've added some custom textures to this tool.
I can't seem to be able to add more materials to that tool.
Love the atmosphere.
This looks absolute gorgeous! Well done, mate!
Oh good god, that looks so awesome.
Really cool, it reminds me of those early 1990s 2d games where your character can only walk sideways and it's as if you're controlling the soldier dude. Very awesome build.
