The first one's angle could've been chosen a little better, it's not a good idea to cut characters off like that.
And the others are REALLY blurry.
I used Toy Town because I thought it would have been cooler, but it depends... I always use it.

Actually I'm working on other screenshots right now, and I'm not going to use Toy Town
Posing needs work and you should use Super DoF instead.
Super DoF is extremely laggy for me, my PC isn't new.
And these are my beginning screenshots, I mean I started doing these some weeks ago. There's one I didn't upload, it's this, and it was my first one:
I thought that, for a beginner, these were a nice work.
Super dof is supposed to be laggy. You position yourself and your camera, press SDOF and then press the item you want to be in focus and then press render. It will render out your finished image, the you press save image or whatever it says.
Yeah it's best to put on your optimized settings while making the scene and posing, then max up your graphics and turn on Super DoF even if it's slow, to get the best results, also make sure your jpeg_quality is 100 (jpeg_quality 100 in console).
The quality has been 100% for every screenshot but the first one, anyway thanks for the hints
while it's ok for your first pose, i think there's a bunch of stuff that could be improved.
the position and angle of the camera:
it looks awkward because you have the black dude too close to the camera so that he's cut off, and also
covering some important bits of the yellow dude. his hand for instance where he's holding that purple
blade thing. since you can't see the hand you might as well get the idea that it's some kind of prosthetic
limb or something.
And then you have the camera angle that looks odd because it's hard to tell what it is that's going on in
the picture. it's also quite strange that you cut off whatever it is that the black dude is holding and his
legs, so you can't really tell if he's walking forwards or standing still.
Posing and positioning of objects:
i can't really tell what is going on in the picture, because of the strange cropping/cut off angle and because
of the posing that's a bit awkward. the yellow guy has this look going on and it's rather hard to tell what
he's about to do. then of course there's the whole scene to think of. i mean i can tell that 2 spartans are
doing something and that there's one of those warthog jeeps in the back, but i have no idea what the hell
is going on with everything.
light/editing:
Well, this might be your biggest fall on this picture, the gun that the yellow dude is holding is really dark,
it looks almost like a black blob. and it's the same story with the black spartan, he's very dark and it ruins
the picture a bit. actually the whole picture is sort of dark, you should start experimenting with lamps and
the natural light of maps. there's also the floor that looks like it's made up of pixels stretched horizontally.
i personally suck at posing screenshots, but i'm sure there's tons of people here that can give you good
criticism and friendly advice. just keep posting your pictures and listen to what people say
oh god, that's a huge bulk of letters.
Hey, this is just a crappy screenshot from the game, don't forget it!
Keep your graphics at lowest when using super DOF. Set a static camera once you find the camera angle you want, then turn the graphics down and find your focus with super DOF. Usually you'll have to find somewhere that's close, render it once, adjust the focus distance and re-render multiple times, it's a labor of love really. Once you find a good focus distance, save, remember your DOF settings and turn the graphics back up, then render again and there you go. Honestly your posing is promising if this is your early stuff. Everyone starts somewhere.
Thanks everyone, nobody ever used to care about me.
