Well, I was looking around for a trophy truck for gmod everywhere until i thought i just couldn't find one...
That thought motivated me to make my own!
and here it is after a week of bulding 23 different types of suspension tests, my trophy truck:








Yes, it has got suspension but i made the suspension with weight tool because I just can't make suspension without a dozen bugs

Iemand, nobody can see your screenshots in the OP. This is due to the fact that they are stored on your computer when they need to be hosted on an internet server such as Imgur or Tinypic (never use photobucket or Imageshack, eww).

(crits: the front of the truck is damn messy, more props not = better looks. otherwise pretty good.)

The front of the truck is very flat and so are thte sides of it. You should try to change stuff upp a bit there to make it seem more detailed. I'd also decrease thhe angle of which you sloped the roof, it looks a bit dramatic right now. I do like it thouh, it looks pretty sweet!

On a side note; i hate typing on this damn ipad... It's just awful.

It's not really THAT good... looks like a 5-10 minute job.
If you look at what used to be the contraptions section, you find stuff like this.

Beanz made that, and I could go on with examples.

This is why contraps is dead, if you're going to snub the guy, offer constructive crits.

The truck is by no means bad at all, but it can be better which is what we're trying to help you to do.

I understand, but some people dont have to make this a who's car/mustang is better competition...

you should record a video of it in action so we can have a look at your suspension and stuff and maybe give you more pointers/tips on how to improve on it.

i do like your trophy truck, it's quite good, but it does have a few rough edges as if you didn't snap things to a fixed degree.

well, to be fair i didn't snap anything i just used my physgun and parenting tool...
i tryed just doing that but yes, even i think its a bit rough.
Ill try uploading a video for you but i dont know what kind of recorder i should use...

valve broke it a few updates ago. Also it takes forever.

the 30fps of source recording off a demo is similar to the 29.4fps of fraps recording off a demo. GOod enough for me.

Really? Oh well, when it'll be fixed make sure to remember to use it, no matter how long it takes it's for the greater good. Just go and watch a movie or take your dog out while it renders.
