zombies.
zombies everywhere.
Holy mother of fuck! How did you spawn all these zombies and your computer didn't have a nuclear reaction?
Tell me your secrets.
lol was bored
the smoke is too bright and flat but otherwise, nicely done
it's got nothin on my pose with masterfgh's edit though:
Edited:
i remember the good old days when everything had way too many darktones. in retrospect, those days sucked
Rude.
dawn of the officemen, to say more precisely![]()
i don't see how that was rude at all. i said his piece was good and then i retrospectively pointed out bad things in masterfgh's editing style
also the smoke is too bright in the picture i posted too
SEE we're all equals and friends here (apart from when one piece is totally objectively better than another)
I wasn't really serious at all actually.
LIES! FILTHY LIES!
STOP PUTTIN FULL-STOPS COS IT MAKES YOU LOOK WELL DEADLY SERIOUS DUDE.
hohoho sut up i feel superier that wai

lol
Thought of this when I saw the title:
also, I like, needs moar gore
Gore is something everyone should learn if they are fond of creating zombie pictures. There's nothing the general public enjoys more then some detailed well-made gore!
There are 2 people I know of that make good gore, mosquito and dragonsnake. Not saying certain other members of this forum aren't good at it. I just mentioned some note-worthy contributors to good ol' head splatters. (Blood splatter is cool and all, but cmon we need more actual gore)
Yours is definitely better than mine. I mainly did this because I was so excited about buying L4D 1 and 2 and having their goods in GMod.
Edited:
I wasn't even using my tricked out desktop, I was using my laptop.
now i feel bad
they're different. there's stuff in yours that is far better
Nice picture, and an amazing book.
Seems like you just kind of wasted your time with all those zombies unless you have another angle or something.
Radical. But I believe they were wearing NBC hoods?
They were also US Army. Not Marines.
being this pedantic is kinda pointless
What? Why? It's a reference to a book, in which they were very specific about the NBC gear, and Rusty remembers them as being Army, but I didn't recall that part, it's been awhile. The current narrator makes a big point of telling the reader that the chemical hoods and masks were obscuring their vision and making the circumstances worse, without actually helping.
mopp suits ye?
Bingo.
i don't understand why you think this means someone should spend ages to go out of their way finding the exactly 100% correct models to use (that i doubt exist anyway) to make a gmod pose with, something that will have taken a couple of hours to make and will be completely forgotten in a week
is the picture worse cos they don't have nbcmk101028.636v2huds on? no of course not
No you guys are right, but there are a few details from the battle I had a hard time replicating. The AVA dudes are the only guys that look like they're in MOPP gear but they don't meet my ridiculous standards for ragdoll flexibility and finger posing. The soldiers were all also wearing this stuff if I remember correctly and were supported by Comanches...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Future_Force_Warrior
As far as I know, there aren't any Comanches in GMod or soldiers in that gear. The Crysis 1 Marines and Ghost Recon soldiers are the only guys close enough to that now that I think about it but they don't have gasmasks. I figured a shit load of zombies and some high quality dudes in gasmasks would be enough to make up for that.
I'm not saying the picture is any worse, I'm just commenting on the fact that they were geared a bit differently.
I didn't think the AVA guys were too difficult to pose, my only issue with them is that they're like 7 and a half feet tall.
No they're not difficult, but they have some stiffness in their shoulders that really bothers me, particularly for models that are pretty much made for poses with guns. But yeah their sizes were also a factor in me not using them.
This is real awesome, and really appropriate considering they just started filming the movie this month!
And as been said before, models not 100% appropriate, but oh well.
(Apparently they started filming the scene in Israel first)
Hah Im reading the book at the moment.
