Amazing Zerax, I love it. Tho the tank seems a little small, but only a tiny tiny bit, or that might just be me, nevertheless that wouldn't be your fault anyways.
Also you can't see the glass on the police shield

Okay. Everything was just fine until I scrolled down and see- out of no where- some old guy and his helper lying helplessly on the floor. It just caught me completely off guard.
"D'oh, someone help me up before the tank runs me over. Ooooh."
Anyway... the only thing I don't really like is the barrel at the left side of the picture. It just feels like I'm looking at a normal picture, and then there's this glare from either the sun or some idiot shining a flashlight at my screen.

It's pretty good. Love the details you added around, but I think you could have shaded a few more things. The rubble on the bottom left maybe. I'm shit at these big scenes things.

what the fuck does that mean
what is there to LIKE? the composition is bad and the concept is boring
the only interesting thing about it is the humorous display of the death of cripples and the makeshift wall. that's honestly about it.

i mean it's not really your fault but the placement of the debris just feels so forced in there. the roads are still too neat for the randomly thrown bits of rubble and trash. a good way to compensate to make the roads themselves look more gritty is to bump the contrast on them (or burn the dark areas so the bumps look more 3D)
actually a lot of this could be fixed if there was more contrast but it looks like you put the haze on first which in return makes it impossible to do contrast because the entire picture would look funky

actually, just by desaturating the image and adding maybe five minutes worth of editing to it i managed to make the composition salvagable.
click for full size. also threw some experimental artistic torque in there that you can ignore -- the general presentation of the composition is there.

oh by the way all i really did was boost up the contrast and add vignetting. if you want a great toolset on photoshop cs2 (CS2 is for pros because of the plugins), find/get 55mm. Best plugin set I've ever bought, ever. Nothing goes unused -- the vignetting and black and white tools are fantastic (b&w is especially useful on another layer to adjust the contrast appropriately). also that's how i managed to get the centered blur.
long story short, with 55mm, anything can look good

as much as i want to say i'm sorry etc and do your bidding, i'm not
as far as this section goes, this is routine. everyone could go with help. this is a great way to teach concepts and composition because not everybody has the means or the willpower to do real photography or the like -- they can still learn a technical skill even within a game. i'm tired of seeing the "it's just an unprofessional hobby" etc card dropped -- it's an unprofessional medium, but the learning capacity within it is far beyond that.
i'm going to be an asshole. people who make screenshots all get treated fairly in my books; if they don't know what they're doing, then too bad, but the folks who are old enough and skilled enough aren't going to get mercy from me if they're clearly compitent enough to use common sense to make a picture look appropriate. these remedial flaws should be spotted before the picture is even taken and the logic behind fixing it should already be ingrained or else it's going to come out with obvious flaws.
i'm not saying that i'm perfect: i am saying that most of the people here are idiots. it doesn't take a rocket scientist or some scene hipster to spot painfully obvious flaws in an otherwise good picture
then again, i don't have to explain myself to you either because you're nobody, but i did because i'm not as big of an asshole as you think.

uncalled for, his c&c actually helped me a lot.
and yeah, this is pretty much standard routine. it really gets to you at first -- but at the end of the day he means just as well as any other member. his way of express it is a bit different, yes, but it gets to you.

I thin 69105 actually deserved it, he was not respecting the chain of command, it seemed like a rebelionous action he was trying to take. (not)
Otherwise I like the pose. There is still room for improving though, but I do not spot any major flaws. Plus all the variants 69105 showed us was nice too. Is that NPCs near the top of the screen or were they posed?

I like the first one the most, the other one is way too brown for my liking.
Even though Asaratha might not know how it usually goes in the screenshot section, the forum's rules still applies there, even if we didn't get banned for it 'back then' (since the section has been badly moderated).

You can give C&C and not be an ass or boost your own ego, and frankly this section has a huge share of assholes that need to either be taught how to behave or get kicked out. Same goes for the comic section and all those troll comics that stopped being funny 5 years ago.
To comment on the picture(s): it's a bit empty for such a shot, the scene building is fine but it could use a few more people, and I have to agree on the contrast, bump it up a little and this picture will gain a lot of depth.

also harsh criticism usually achieves more than pussyfooting around the matter (literally the worst thing you can do). it may or may not work as well as chesty's NO STRINGS ATTACHED crit but it beats all hell out of sugar-coating everything to avoid hurting poor babby's feelings.
then someone who only posts here like once a year comes in and makes out like he is endorsing the holocaust with his every post and a big shitfight starts while most of the screenshots section doesn't give a fuck (big surprise).
essentially this place is a closed community and people coming in from outside and thinking they need to "fix" things are the catalyst for the worst of the shitfights, it happens every time
